I see a countdown clock ticking away the seconds, minutes, hours and days. This is making me a little anxious. Is it the end of days? The end of soapchat? This is like history repeating itself awaiting the return season after JR Ewing was shot. I don't think my nerves can take it...pass the smelling salts.

OK the secret is out, I can exclusively reveal that Saturday August 8th is the day that .....................................................

At 10am BF gets her first hair apt since Feb 28th February and is super excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not sure whether to get it cut, keep it longer (and curly)

That is the day I am going back to work after my vacation. So certainly not something I want to count down to! :summer:

Previously, the notice highlighted that we were approaching the last Soapchat Top Ten vote so my guess is that the final top ten will start on the 8th August. It will be interesting to see the subject of the final vote but I would guess it will be favourite/best 80s prime time soap opera.

Then we'll have to be very quick because the current battle is #98.

And who is this new Moderator? There's something mysterious and sinister about it, and he/she's never bothered to introduce him/herself.
It's as if soapchat has been taken over by a cartel or something.

I guess the date refers to some Dallas celebration? 50 years? 100 years?
