Lion - great story but not very well executed.

Missing at 17. Was on TV. I had to watch, cause it starred Judith from 2 & a half men, and one of the Mean Moms from New Adventures of Old Christine. They were the biological mom & the adoptive mom. :)

Jackie - I wasn't particularly impressed. The flashback scenes were very good but those in the present day were not particularly engrossing.

Joy Ride

Or as it's called in the UK... Road Kill

It's some years since I last watched it. I'd forgotten how atmospheric it is in places. One of Beltrami's best scores, too.

I watched 'Blair Witch' - so disappointed, it was awful :(

Then Girl on the Train - it was good...yeah...enjoyed it, maybe not as much as I thought I would but yes it was good.

The Incredible Shrinking Man

I was inspired to watch it by the mention of it in a featurette on the Duel DVD (the same guy wrote the screenplay for both films). Far better than I expected, it was played for truth and the result was a very credible film.

"I'm Not Ashamed" (2016)
This one is the true story of a girl who was killed in the Columbine High School Shooting 1999.
Yet the movie doesn't really focus on that event or cast blame on anyone. It pays tribute to a life cut short at only 17.
Rachel was a regular teenager in some ways and watching the movie enabled me to identify with her, since she was the main character. She wasn't perfect, but she was a human being and God must have loved her a lot because he chose her to be with him. He used her life to send a message to the world. I am not sure what exactly that message is but yeah watching this movie I liked her and I knew all along that she was was going to die at the end of the movie. So it was sad to watch it in that sense and it did make me cry. But I can recommend it.
