Through the years, I've been inadvertently dissuaded from watching a couple classic TV shows by fans of said show. I feel like anytime someone has tried to sell me on the original STAR TREK, it goes like this, "It's great! Except for the entire third season. And about 7 episodes in the first season. And about 9 episodes in the second season. But otherwise, it's great!" DYNASTY fans seem even more fickle, as that usually goes, "It's great! Except for seasons two through seven, and nine, and the movie. But otherwise, it's great!" And don't even get me started on the people who have tried to sell DARK SHADOWS to me: "So it's like 85% bad; slow, dusty and boring. But about every 22 episodes, something incredible happens!"
I'm always left perplexed as to what I would want to watch something that seems to be more bad than good.
Go buy Return To Eden there's not a single bad episode in it!

Well, usually when I see it discussed online elsewhere, people are usually asking if they should leave the dream season out. Mostly they say yes.
A family friend declared to me on Monday night that it loves Knots Landing. I said nothing.
You were right not to say anything, people who like Knot's Landing need their heads tested!!
Dallas was much better. Dynasty and The Colby's are great and as for Return To Eden that show is possibly very underrated. But well loved by it's fans.
