Which shows do you have the COMPLETE series for on DVD?

I got this in the post a few days ago and have binge watched the entire set.

Somehow I ended up with this in my collection and watched the series some years ago (for the first time, though I read the books when I was much younger).

My main memory is of the bonus features where certain other cast members - now grown up - bitch about how unprofessional the actor who played Julian was (with the irony that doing this made them seem unprofessional).

All in the Family's credits explicitly acknowledge Till Death Us Do Part as its source.

Well that's good.

I've watched the interview with the cast and one of the writers. Marcus Harris who played Julian is interviewed along with all the others except for Michelle Gallagher who had sadly passed away years ago.

It was a lovely interview with some lovely behind the scenes anecdotes. Maybe you're misremembering it.

I used to love watching Hart to Hart on ITV1 on a Sunday night in the 1980s when it aired to an audience of more than 15 million viewers in the UK.

Ditto T J Hooker which was a smash hit for the same channel on a Saturday night in the 1980s. I actually prefer William Shatner in this role over that of captain Kirk.

I don’t really know, I just prefer it.

T J Hooker was a great action packed series whereas I’ve never been a huge Star Trek fan.

I also preferred Shatner in his various “Columbo” roles over his role in Star Trek.

I haven't been either-- there have been only two Treks I've ever enjoyed (TOS and Voyager).

I understand exactly what you’re saying here. He will always be synonymous with Captain Kirk first and foremost yet if you’re not necessarily a big Star Trek fan his other TV roles can kind of get lost in the shuffle. I prefer TJ Hooker as well but that’s just me of course.

Funny how he seemed old in the 80s (compared to Star Trek TOS) but now he seems so young in the same photos.

This is a tough one for me. I enjoyed her in both roles but they’re such different characters that I have a hard time comparing them. Most people I’ve talked to preferred her as Stacy and it’s hard to disagree with this.

I agree and it is testament to the acting abilities of Heather Locklear that she was able to pull off both of these two very different characters convincingly.

The complete DVD set of Starsky and Hutch came for me yesterday.

I vaguely remember my parents watching it when I was a kid.

I decided to get it after hearing that David Soul had passed away at 80 years old. May He Rest In Peace.

I think the main reason I got into this show when I was younger was the car, the “striped tomato” as it’s been famously dubbed over the years. I didn’t care as much for the actual show but having watched some episodes again I think it was quite the underrated show at the time.

Paul Michael Glaser who played Starsky hated the car in real life. Two undercover cops wouldn't be driving around in a vehicle which was so distinctive like that. I can see his point if it was real life but it is after all a TV series albeit a great one.
