Who would you want to play Blake's former fiancée ?

Who would you cast as Blake's ex-fiancée from the 1950s?

What..what are you saying, Blake?
I'm sorry Stella, it's over between us. I can't give you the love you deserve, not anymore...I...

It's that Morell girl, isn't it? Yes, it must be her, that bitch, that slut from England! O Blake how could you?
But I'll forgive you, it wasn't your fault...just give us another chance to...I promise..

Stella, stop it! It's already been decided and, well...I've asked her to marry me.
Damn you Blake Carrington, damn you and that whore! *throws vase at Blake*

Either her or Lana Turner. The end!

No, no, no, no, no, no. No. Everything revolves around Victoria.
I vaguely remember this actress. She was in TITANS, the only prime time soap that was so bad I couldn't finish it (and it was only 11 episodes!)

(sorry to put a damper on all the Models Inc jokes, but Titans was worse!)

Liz as Alexis' other cousin, who actually married Galen and became a queen:

Queen _______, the ill-fated, tragic beauty.

Just posting it, because.

Great photo of Taylor. Suzanne Pleshette looked a lot like this around 1970, before she chopped off her hair for BOB NEWHART, both women having that Libra Rising (recent charts have tried to shift Elizabeth's Rising Sign to Sagitt, which is crazy wrong).

Ha! That reminds me of "Alexia", Alexis' twin-sister played by Liz Taylor (long story, awful fanfiction, long time ago)

In my perfect Dynastic world, Taylor (who may have been offered the role, but likely was aware what a dog the show had already become, so she did one episode of HOTEL instead, publicly stating "and I want the rumor stopped" when gossip circulated around her guesting on DYNASTY just before Ali MacGraw showed up) indeed played Lady Ashley not-Mitchell-because-I-don't-like-Mitchell, Alexis' cousin, during Season 5.

Candace Bergen turned down Lady Ashley, too, apparently. And so did La Dickinson who was offered a role on the show every six months apparently.

Maximillian's brother would obviously be named Stephen and not Steven and Alexis would have settled on the latter spelling as it was a more fresh and modern twist on the older spelling. It was apparently the 11th most popular name for boys in the US in the 1960s.

She did Hollywood Wives, was that so much better than Dynasty?

Great photo of Taylor
It's gorgeous!

My absolute #1 choice for Lady Ashley would have been Romy Schneider, but she died in 1982.

Oh what a couple she and Helmut Berger would have been. Euro-glam-galore! For season 4, and the treasure story!

FC wanted her, too, but Angie asked a pretty hefty 120,000 dollars/episode, which was likely her way of saying 'no' (and they wanted her to play Angela's "other daughter" rather than, obviously, Maggie's cousin. Go figure).

Poor Romy. Not a bad choice at all, although her ex, Alain Delon, would be one of my choices for PeeWee.
