Social Media is a buzz with rumours that Will & Grace is back. The cast have been tweeting recent pictures from Will's apartment set with them all in character and there appears to be a script in one of the pics I saw. Debra Messing tweeted that there's a big surprise coming...

I wonder what the hell is going on. Could the sitcom really be returning? Or is it some kind of special or something? Are they going to be on Netflix? Whaaaaaaaaaa?

They all look great as does the recreated apartment set!

this was a good show don't get me wrong, but there's just so many other shows out there that i'd rather have come back. this after all was on for nearly 10 years wasn't it?
and it's amazing how old that woman i forget her name who played Karen is. i think she's in her 50's i think now, and she if she reads this would prolly be grateful about that remark about her breasts. he he

I don't think she is. I'm not saying she looks fat either. Just that dress is a sort of strange shape. The kind of thing they put actresses in trying to hide a bump.

This reminds me of that 2012 reunion of the original cast of Melrose Place (for an Entertainment Weekly cover). About a decade has passed and the cast chemistry is still intact. They could easily do a new series.

Talks are underway for a potential revival of “Will & Grace” at NBC, Variety has confirmed.

According to sources, Discussions about resurrecting the series first began last month after the cast reunited to create an election-themed video online. Discussions are believed to be in very early stages.

Last month, the show’s four cast members — Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes — gathered to make a nearly 10-minute episode posted online shortly before the start of the Sept. 26 presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Messing and other cast members teased the reunion on Twitter the day prior, posting photos from the set. The video and the teaser campaign sparked an outpouring of fan interest on social media.

‘Will & Grace’ Cast Reunites for Modern-Day Episode on the Election

“Will & Grace” aired on NBC from 1998 to 2006. Created by David Kohan and Max Mutchnick, it was the recipient of 16 Primetime Emmy awards over the course of its run. It was one of the first broadcast TV shows to feature gay series regulars. The revival would be produced by NBC’s sister studio Universal Television. Predecessor NBC Studios was responsible for the original series. NBC sources were unaware at the time of the cast and creators’ plans to reunite for the special episode.

“Will & Grace” told the story of two longtime friends and roommates, Will (McCormack), a gay man, and Grace (Messing), a hetero woman, as well as their friends Jack (Hayes) and Karen (Mullally).

Here's Megan Mullally's interview with Jimmy Kimmel about the reunion (and the show in general).

I remember reading an interview with Eric McCormack about 15 years ago where he was incensed because Madonna couldn't remember his name (he apparently reminded Madge that his was the name that appeared first in the credits). So I'm guessing who Megan is talking about here.

And, a little late, Megan talks about "working" with Trump:

NBC has released key art for the new season of 'Will & Grace' which I hear will be 12 episodes.

As the poster suggests, the show will be on the schedule in the fall already.

We'll know what timeslot it gets when NBC releases its fall 2017 schedule next Sunday.

Looking good!

I have to say that Will's apartment set has always been one of my favourite TV show sets ever. I love that it's virtually the same as when the show began but yet it still looks modern and hasn't aged badly and doesn't look dated.
