Will Johnson's premiership be longer than May's?

That question crossed my mind just now, and on looking up the details I was surprised to find Theresa May's term at Number 10 was longer than it felt to me: 3 years and 12 days.

If my maths is right, Boris will hit that milestone in six months' time, on the 5th August.

With calls for his resignation increasing by the day, how do you think it will pan out?

I voted "No and good riddance" but it could be a close run thing. I have a feeling that Tory MPs will wait until after the May council elections to see if there is a meltdown in their vote before deciding to drop him. Then there has to be a vote of no confidence followed by several rounds of votes amongst Tory MPs to chose the top 2 candidates to replace him before there is a vote of the entire Tory membership. That whole process will take a few months so it could September/October before it is concluded so he may just beat Mrs May.

I always thought David Cameron was the worst Prime Minister we had in my lifetime with Theresa May a close second but Johnson is in a whole new league of awfulness.

Yes. And in turn, Covid had provided the perfect cover for the consequences of his party "getting Brexit done". The wheel goes round and round.
