At a time when most people are struggling to pay their energy bills, having difficulty affording to feed their children, are being worn down by having to be carers for elderly relatives and having to work long hours to keep up with mortgage or rent payments on their home, the hardest thing that Kate, Princess Privilege, Duchess of Bland, has had to do is walk down a road with Harry and Meghan. The poor thing, if only she had and easier job like doing a 16 hour shift in A&E.

So if you're worried about having to choose between eating or heating your home, spare a though for the hardship this poor woman is having to deal with.

The heirs to the throne after QE2 has made a mockery of the institution. She should have booted Charles and given the title to Anne or Edward instead. They SEEM more genuine. Key word being seem. I don't know them well enough, but it's the impression I get.

The only good thing to come out of Charles’ coronation is an extra bank holiday on May the 8th.

That said, if we had an elected head of state I suppose we could always have a “president’s day” like they have in the USA.

However, the bank holiday will cost the UK economy around £1 billion just so a load of benefit scrounging aristocrats can prance around in an irrelevant and unnecessary jewelled hat ceremony. I would rather the money be spent on housing the record number of homeless people in the UK or feeding our record number of poor.
