How weird, I was thinking about bringing back the ACOUSTIC SONGS thread that I once started on the old SC . I was going to start it off yesterday, then I went completely blank and couldn't decide which song to use in the opening post. I might pinch this one @Ome, he even sounds great with just the piano

I've just been reading that documentary maker Louis Theroux has a new series of interviews out and he will be interviewing Yungblud.
Louis meets Dominic Harrison, aka singer and musician Yungblud, often regarded as one of the UK music scene's brightest stars.
Louis joins Yungblud in the USA, on the last two nights of a whirlwind tour. Along the way, Louis meets fans who follow their hero with almost religious intensity, attracted to his brand of emotionally charged music.
In a Paris hotel during the European leg of his tour, Louis and Yungblud sit down to discuss a range of topics, including his mental health, his sexuality and his response to outspoken critics.
Louis also travels to Doncaster to spend time with Yungblud and his family, where they discuss his turbulent upbringing.
I think its due to be aired on BBC2 on the 8th November at 9pm and will also available on iPlayer.

As much as I love his music, he's one of my all-time favourites lyrically, I can have a problem with watching him being interviewed because he gets so excited it becomes a distraction. I understand he suffers from ADHD and I should be more mindful of that. Anyway, I'm definitely planning on watching this, more because I want to see his parents and I highly rate Louis Theroux.
I feel shallow for what I said about watching him I'm any interview...

I'm not surprised to hear this. I've not seen him being interviewed, but I can imagine he would be hyper like he is on stage.
When I first heard that Louis Theroux was interviewing Yungblud I did think .. what a combination these two very different personalities will be together. I've not caught up with the interview yet, but I intend to watch it mainly to see how well or if Theroux and Yungblud can communicate well together? due to their vastly different personalities.
You have no need to.
... you can't expect to love absolutely everything about Yungblud and the fact you appreciate his song writing and music would be far more important to him.

I finally caught up with the interview and I never, ever thought I would witness Louis Theroux jumping up and down at a Yungblud concert
I thought the interview was absorbing and very inspiring, despite my earlier doubts of how well (or probably not) the combination of Yungblud and Louis Theroux would be? .... it turned out I was wrong as he was the perfect person to interview him. The interview made me understand Yungblud far more and my respect for him has grown.

Mine too. Every interview I have seen with Yungblud has been pretty manic, but, this was very different and totally fascinating. I did feel somewhat awkward with the family part of the interview. It felt very strange to talk about the dysfunctional side of his childhood.
