Who would you like to see? I think we should be realistic and not ask for Madonna or someone like that.
Maybe we could exclude the former Dynasty stars this time as we've considered them in various other topics.

Maybe a singer, a BIG one-hit-wonder from yesteryear - or a well known daytime soap star?
Someone we all know as long as they're not too famous, could you think of some names?

I would love to see actual Dynasty people guest star. Stephanie Beacham maybe as Sabella Scott an Art Dealer from California. Or Joan Collins as Minx Morrell, nuAlexis' mother. Just for 1 or 2 episodes, as a wink to the old show and a treat for Hardcore Dynasty fans. John James as a Psychiatrist who's dealing with nuClaudia. That kind of thing. Jack Coleman as Alexis' gay brother?
I think that could be fun, especially if their dialogue is peppered with things from the old show. Or they redo lines they did before. It wouldn't be something that the new viewers would have to even care about or understand. To them it's just another character actor in a bit part. To fans of the old show it's a little gift.

Since ABC has once again given Genie Francis the shaft on General Hospital, I'd like to see her on nuDynasty. I'm not even sure who she would play, but she has "1980s street cred" that could translate to this show quite well.

Surely you know Kamen's "Each Time You Break My Heart" which was co-written and co-produced by Madonna?
But "Promised" was a bigger hit, I think. Had a nice remix in 2004 too.

I knew he was a jeans model? And there was a vague Madonna link, not much else though. But "Promised Myself" totally has the "So - the - winner - takes - it - all" melody in the backing track. It's there.

I did a bit of research and found out I did know the song... but this version from 2004 by ATEENS. Which I had totally forgotten about.

I don't think I noticed the ABBA connection in the ATEENS version which is weird. I do love the Nick Kamen version more I think, both his versions of it.
Although I'm wondering if I love it so much because that ABBA melody is so grabbing. I have decided Nick's song sounds like a mash up of ABBA,The Pet Shop Boys and Stock Aitken & Waterman. OK... I think I understand why I love it so much now.

Paula Deen as Fallon and Steven's retired nanny, and the only person on this Atlanta-based show who has a Southern accent. :2B: She could provide some commentary on the early years, as well as the mysterious disappearance of Adam. Bonus points if she's identified to everyone else as Liam's mama.
