Could they twist the season 2 concept from Original Dynasty around?

Let's be honest here - a lot of Dynasty's season 2 concept was spent around the new wife meeting the old wife... but how about this for a twist: the old wife (and possibly lover?) meeting the real new wife who happens to be married in name only to Blake?

Oh, no magic trick. Just overblown great happenings, which I’m trying hard to follow. It goes something like this:

O-Dynasty was about the woman on the premises being the new wife of Blake Carrington and the ‘newcomer’ being the returning-to-stay/hang around ex-wife of his.

Tommie has spotted nu-Dynasty’s twist: The woman on the premises is the hanging around ex-wife and the ‘newcomer’ is the stranger who is legally Blake’s current wife thanks to the shenanigans of the lately departed Celia Machado (though why folk on this forum believe the shenanigans mean that the newcomer is also legally married to Blake defeats me).

Tommie appears to be wondering if nu-Dynasty can keep the twist going with a series of meet-ups between the on-the-premises/living-in-the-house ex-wife with the frequently-dropping-by visitor wife – I think.

And that is saying alot considering for several years after that scene DYNASTY mk1980s would miss opportunities!

Making Krystle a robotic noddy who never had the last word over Alexis was a missed opportunity to reach a higher level in catfights art... Look at "Empire"... Watch "Knots Landing" again ( Karen vs Abby) Alexis was given to much power, to much anything too fast for the show not to collapse after season 2... Honestly she never had a true nemesis... Maybe this one can improve that... ?
