Me either thank you @DallasFanForever - in some ways Sue Ellen always held the upper hand especially later on. Not once did JR ever say he didn’t love her.@Sarah to answer ur question you asked me earlier, yes I do believe J.R. always loved Sue Ellen. I think it was always pretty obvious. And despite everything that happened between them over the years I never got the impression he wanted her out of his life.
You mean in the picture above?? That’s pure love isn’t it?? From him too, he just stares at her and continues to do so as she leaves. The “it” I think was sex because she’d been with Dusty and he couldn’t resist having a dig about his impotence and the fact that she had gone without. However, the magic between them is right there in that picture- beautifully portrayed by them both. I also LOVE how the two of them always kept physically close. If they were sitting together, for example in court, their shoulders/arms were always touching, signifying the physicality of the relationship![]()

Yes that’s what I said - I think haha! I knew what you meant and you described it perfectly.Sorry @Sarah- “it” is the BBQ scene. The picture you posted is love, sheer adoration. I completely agree with your friend, their physical interactions and closeness couldn’t be beaten by any of the other couples. I can’t take my eyes off them when they are on screen![]()

In so many ways, I wish there had been no revenge, no movie, no shooting, none of that crap after Kimberley. I wish Sue Ellen had just walked away gracefully, telling JR she loved him, but that she was done. I bet my life that he would have woken up a hell of a lot sooner than he did. (Plus Linda might just have stayed.)Look at how she’s looking at him here.. Damn sorry it’s a bit blurry! Click on it for full reaction!
