It was a pretty good show but I do see ur point. I didn’t love it but I sure didn’t hate it either. It had its moments but overall it was kinda hit or miss for me.

exactly there's a LOT of tv shows i really hate with a passion but this was never one of them and i tried to get into it more than once

I’ve got Class (Doctor Who spin-off) and Dial 999. Dial 999 (from the late 1950s) stars Robert Beatty and features heavy location work in every single episode. Sometimes in well-known London locations, like Piccadilly Circus. Lots of well-known guest stars, including young Peter Bowles. William Hartnell is in two, one of which has him being observed by Patrick Troughton, who is in three episodes himself. Gordon Jackson and Tom Bell guest too.

I’ve got Robin Chapman’s The Man in Room 17, starring Richard Vernon as E G Oldenshaw, Michael Aldridge as Ian Dimmock, Denholm Elliott as Imlac Defraits and Willoughby Goddard as Sir Geoffrey Norton. The series has the crimes solved by two delightfully intensely snobbish men who solve the crimes without ever leaving their Whitehall office, Room 17. And I have Robin Chapman’s The Fellows (Late of Room 17), starring Richard Vernon as Oldenshaw and Michael Aldridge as Dimmock but now appointed to Cambridge, with Ray McAnally as infamous gangland boss Alec Spindoe. And Robin Chapman’s Spindoe, starring Ray McAnally as Alec Spindoe. Spindoe now out of prison after Oldenshaw and Dimmock put him there. And Robin Chapman’s Big Breadwinner Hog. With Peter Egan and Timothy West.

I used to have more shows on DVD, but when streaming became popular, I gave up on completing several shows, for example Grey's Anatomy or Nip/Tuck. I also sold a couple of DVDs because in my country, they sometimes only released one or two seasons of a show and didn't continue because of low sales or copyright issues.

I've updated my list to include...
It's two new series rather than three since I'd quite forgotten I already had Six Dates With Barker on DVD. No matter, I'd have needed to buy The Ronnie Barker Collection anyway in order to get Hark At Barker. And those two series on three discs take up the same amount of shelf space as the one-disc Six Dates DVD, so it's win/win.

i just bought ALF recently on dvd the complete for only $20! i've said this before on how i used to tape certain shows off tv and than i'd have my brother and well both my parents say who wants to ever watch those again? need they know that they would one day those same shows on dvd or bluray one day for all to buy to watch over and over again.
