Oh the drama, the amazing HD, the music score, absolutely stunning. I've never fully appreciated HD before, but I certainly do now.Drama at Love Field Airport.
He certainly was wonderful, perfection. The brief moment of triumph he shows followed by that look of "can't believe that just happened" and anger.Isn't it amazing just how good Dallas was as a drama series?
Hagman plays the role with such conviction. Wonderful actor, he really made the character of JR Ewing come alive and this clip is living proof of it.
Again thanks @Garry.![]()

Randy, Randy, Randy.
Probably less so after they knew he was a Ewing, I'd say. Remember her "A Ewing is a Ewing ... is a Krebs" jibe?I wonder if they could've found happiness together? Especially once he was a Ewing.
Is Brad Pitt on social media? I don't believe he is but someone should show him this. On a different matter I didn't like this washed out look of Priscilla Presley. She looked anaemic and nothing like the tanned, carefree attitude she had upon arrival in Dallas. Her pale look actually aged her.Randy, Randy, Randy.
Although poorly executed I loved the double hit cliff-hanger. Poor Nicholas goes flying over the balcony. How his hair didn't manage to save him I'll never know. Then we have Sue Ellen shooting that magnificent bastard not once...not twice...but three times...and he still manages to survive. The only disappointment here was Sue Ellen not removing her ear-ring to make the call.Cliffhanger time with some dodgy writing and music...
I was gutted seeing Nicholas flying from that building and shocked, if it had been pre leaked in the press, I didn't know a it.
What followed was all a bit silly.
Sue Ellen barely grieved for her lover, only shedding a tear when visited by Nicholas' father.
Sue Ellen should have gone to jail and/or lost custody or her son. And she certainly wouldn’t have been welcome at Southfork. Typical later Dallas - trying to move past the cliffhanger quickly as opposed to mining it for drama.

I wouldn't say gutted, exactly, but I did think Nicholas was good with her. The British lover wasn't a patch on him.planning a movie with her new British lover.
I really was gutted! Just didn't expect it, I really liked him. Sue Ellen moved on far too quickly. I love Ian Mcshane, but as Don Lockwood he just wasn't right.I wouldn't say gutted, exactly, but I did think Nicholas was good with her. The British lover wasn't a patch on him.
I agree, but always wished she'd had a better ending. So pleased she wasn't killed off.Well, Nicholas' death and Don Lockwood's support were the things it took to finally get Sue Ellen off Southfork once and for all -- which she needed -- by getting her out of the country.
Not that I wanted her gone, but Telepictures c/wouldn't pay her any longer.

I definitely didn't want Sue Ellen gone, but think Linda was happy to go when she did.
There's always been a bit of confusion around her leaving, I assume it was a combination of her wanting to go and them wanting her gone?
