it’s heartwarming to see one of the most pivotal and undersung characters get her due in the opening credits there at the end.
(why is ‘unsung’ a word and ‘undersung’ isn’t, at least according to phone autocorrect)

I might go with 'oversung' at times for our favorite lounge diva - STE-EE-EE-EE-EAL ME AWAY-HAY!Undersung is what you'd use to describe Afton's singing.
The underused words cringefest and ballybloodyawful aren't used much either!
Okay, I made that second word up!![]()
This video is not complete with all versions and variations. There is an amazing video somewhere on YouTube with all the possible versions. Here's a great compilation of the opening sequences of Dallas, which includes a variant centre image of Barbara Bel Geddes from season nine. The season three opening from TNT Dallas is the final sequence and contains the iconic three way split from the superior Lorimar Dallas. Enjoy.

So in the later years the scrolling images and the 3 way split was dropped from Dallas, maybe too much of a change in one hit. What if there was a hybrid of the two versions combined with a dynamic updated version of the iconic theme tune with the drums featuring more than violins....here is what we came up with!
