I loved Pam's fox red hair in Season 7

That was also the year the cinematography improved. I find the fox red colour to be so exquisitely beautiful on her, complimenting her expressive brown eyes. Symbolically as well, the fox is an appropriate avatar for her character, particularly if we make an analogy to the bloodsports of the English upper classes - with JR as the predatory hound, trying to root Pam out and obliterate her.

It's her natural colour, it's just the lighting making it look fox red.

She is beautiful though. One of the most beautful women on the planet. :)

I think it's rinse. But it worked for Pam.

Bradford May's exquisite camerawork for Season 7 was hated by Katzman, who had an anti-artsy sensibility.

That reinforces my point about Dallas being the heterosexual show, there was no artistic taste or aesthetic until Bradford May came around. Dynasty on the other hand put a great deal of care into the visual element, and then The Colbys surpassed that.

Well, THE COLBYS looked great. DYNASTY rarely did.

I'm not sure artistic taste is antithetical to heterosexual thought, but if it is, DYNASTY needed to be a damn bit gayer behind the camera than it apparently was.

I like this analogy. It reminds me of the scene when J.R. goes to see Pam and is telling her what will happen if she goes back to Bobby while he surrounds her the entire time.

A great scene and very well directed, which of course had already been done when a drunk Sue Ellen circled JR in the same way before she hurtled that bottle of burgandy at him on the staircase.

I've never known a heterosexual man with artistic taste but then, I suppose there's a minority of gay men who love sports as well lol

I certainly hope this was sarcasm on your part because Victoria Principal is a natural brunette. Her hair color in Season 7 was exquisite. However, I wasn't a fan of the style at the beginning of this season - when she finally cut it toward the end of the season it was the style that IMO suited her best.
