because I’m the only person that enjoyed his mafia family storyline
You weren't alone DFF, I too loved Nicholas Pearce/Joey Lombardi mafia storyline. I really wanted more from it and really enjoyed it. I even liked April at that point delving into his past.

His romance with Sue Ellen was exciting, they were so good together.

I was so sad when he went over that balcony.

It’s Joey so you were close. I only know this because I’m the only person that enjoyed his mafia family storyline.
I liked it, too! That season had some good elements, but they were unfortunately overshadowed by the Mummy Pam debacle. It didn’t help that Bobby did practically nothing all year, and the tone was just 'off'…

I actually preferred Nick with April. I thought they had better chemistry than he and Sue Ellen, unfortunately we never got to see them as anything more than friends though. I loved how she’d drive him crazy with her nosiness about his past. I thought they could’ve been fun together.

As far as the mafia storyline goes, I liked it because we got to delve into the past of a guest star, which was something we didn’t get to see very often. It gave Nick’s character more depth. I know for most that storyline wasn’t very Dallas-like but I enjoyed it.

In my old Dallas fanfic from 2002 to 2003 with two former forum members Al Pacino appeared as Pearce's cousin, an evil mobster Tony Orlando, who lost his marriage to J.R. and had two things to avenge. He teamed up with Jeremy Wendell and wreaked havoc. Robert DeNiro played his right hand man Miles. They kidnapped the Ewings, who were kept in the abandoned club owned by April and Michelle. Wendell and his goons watched them while Orlando and Miles watched J.R., Bobby and Sue Ellen to get the Red Files and all the Ewing secrets to destroy J.R. Cally was back at Southfork after her 2nd husband was murdered by Orlando's men in Florida. Her brothers appeared. They wanted to put out power and sneak in to get J.R., but a terrible lightning storm was going on. It struck their explosive device and caused worse damage. Clayton and Mac snuck into the house and apprehended the goons. Orlando took off with J.R. in pursuit. The explosion sent J.R. flying into bushes that temporarily blinded him

Now that I would have liked to see!

Cally was back at Southfork
Are you certain nothing bad happened to her? Did you leave out where she got struck with lightening?

Jeremy Wendell
So pleased he's still there!

Well of course I couldn't possibly go as far as to say that.

Nicholas and Sue Ellen had simmering chemistry from the moment they first met.
On their second meeting I loved how she ordered club soda and he said "last time it was iced tea, you don't drink?"
"I used to", she replied.

Then the scene where she visits him unannounced and he actually cancels his poker game! That was very steamy.

Loved his jumpers, loved his hair, loved his dimple, loved his voice, loved how he got upset and felt used when Sue Ellen would have to go back home.

Yes, I was a big fan of Nicholas and even more so of his relationship with Sue Ellen.
