Dallas Actors Happy 80th Birthday Susan Howard

Happy Birthday to Susan Howard who is 80 today.

One of the best and most underated actresses on the show. Loved her scenes with Steve Kanaly and BBG
Loved her as Donna in Dallas and Maggie in Petrochelli, so glad that Ray managed to finish the house he was building on Dallas - I think she may still be living in a caravan in Petrochelli

Ive met her twice, once on the Dallas set in LA, she had a huge bible in her trailor and she gave me a can of coca cola

Enjoy your day Susan
love BF x

Happy 80th Birthday Susan Howard.

Vaguely remember watching her in Petrochelli then seeing her show up in Dallas.

Really enjoyed her as Donna especially when she was strong and forthright.
She was robbed of her highly emotive storyline in the dream season. She, like Linda acted her socks off during that time.

I believe she's very religious and that's why she was never seen in anything less than shorts. Not sure how true that is, I find it a bit peculiar as it's only acting, but if she has strong beliefs that's understandable.

Thinking of Susan today 80 years old!

Never realised her real name is Jeri Lyn Mooney.

I absolutely adore her.

It still angers me the way Leonard Katzman dropped her from the show during season ten.

Happy Eightieth Birthday Susan Howard.

I will forever treasure the signed, framed photograph I got of you off eBay.

Here's to many more birthdays. :ny8:

Here's a lovely behind the scenes promo picture of her with Timothy Patrick Murphy who of course played the iconic character of Mickey Trotter. One of the casualties of the battle for Ewing Oil as a result of the stipulations in Jock's will. Sleep Eternal with the Lord Timothy.

Always admired her as Donna always felt like the conscience of the show. Always loved how she’d stand up to J.R. and showed no fear of him. She could also be funny and quite witty. Wish she could’ve stayed on the show longer as I felt there was definitely more story to tell. Donna and Ray always seemed like the most realistic couple to me and I hated when they split.

Happy Birthday Susan!!

One of the best actresses on Dallas and I really liked her - at times - fraught relationship with Miss Ellie. Once again the casting director of Dallas and writers nailed it when pairing Susan up with Steve and there was a real honesty to their relationship as beautifully displayed during the dream season. What stupidity/immaturity on Uncle Lenny to believe Donna's story had run it's course. I call bulldust on that.

If you think the coupling of Ray and Donna was exhausted then ship them to Washington where Ray decides he needs to be there to support his wife. This way either/or could have made special guest star returns to Dallas when required. The pairing of Ray and Jenna was vomit-inducing and if anything the character of Jenna and Charlie had run their course.

Happy Birthday Susan.
One of my favourites.

A terrific lady, an underrated actress.
Donna Krebs was a great character
Donna and Ray were an underrated strength of the show.
Her departure from the show was a major loss.

Donna was a strong, capable, intelligent, independent woman
- much more so than any other female character,
including Miss Ellie and Pam IMHO
She is a member of the Writer's Guild

She is quite the Texan, she was born in Texas
She has been a Commissioner of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department
and the Texas Commission on the Arts
and has been active in the leadership of the Texas Republican Party

Happy Birthday, Susan Howard!
