Dallas Actors In Loving Memory of Ken Kercheval 6 years on

Just wanted to pay tribue to one of the nicest men of Dallas who passed away 5 years ago today. His whole death was very strange - Has or has he not passed away?

Ken Kercheval was a great guy, an under rated actor and brilliant on stage. I dont think he always got the credit he was due on Dallas and was a great nemesis for JR. He was my mums fav actor on the show

I loved his performances on stage in White Christmas as the General and was so nice to see him on the UK stage in both Southampton and Edinburgh.

Also appreciate that he took the time out to write to me with some stories of Barbara and was pleasantly surprised to hear that they were the closest of friends off screen.

RIP Ken Kercheval, you will live on in original Dallas forever. Hated what they did to your character in TNT Dallas and have deleted from my memory. Below will always be one of my favourite scenes on Dallas.

He was a great actor.

I'm reminded of a line from Colin Baker as the Doctor in Doctor Who where he said "You can always tell a man by the quality of his enemies."

As an enemy of JR Ewing's he excelled at being Cliff Barnes.

Rest In Peace Ken Kercheval.

oh thats awful @Garry - He had a lot of family who could surely club together for a headstone and give him something better than that! Im presuming its Indiana

Ever since last year and visiting Nollys grave in Ross, I have found myself watching this site on Youtube to see resting places of the great and the good (and not so good)
I find it rather interesting

(yesterday watched Roy Hudd and he is still waiting for his headstone)

It really is sad. Where's his family? You would think someone could tend to Ken's final resting place. Has he become so insignificant in their lives now?

I never really appreciated Ken in the role of Cliff when I was a young girl but with time I've learnt to realise how gifted he really was.

I didn't care so much for him later on and he didn't need the comedy element but he's someone I've grown to admire.

He was as much a huge part of Dallas as any of the original ensemble cast.
