Arthur Fulford has left the Big Brother house

It hasn't even been back on our screens for a week yet, but Big Brother has already seen its first non-eviction departure of the series.

Channel 5 has confirmed that Arthur Fulford has left the Big Brother house – and that he won't be returning.

Before entering the house, Arthur revealed he was going on the show as it was "an opportunity to have a really good time and an exciting experience", and he certainly got stuck into the wild side of Big Brother pretty much from the get go.

From the event that will now be forever known as mannequin-gate – in which Arthur had too much bubbly and squared up to the Big Brother mannequin before ripping it into pieces until Big Brother intervened – to going bare-ass naked in the shower, Arthur has certainly left his mark in Britain's Best Village in the time he was there.

Disappointed with this because he had so much potential to stir up the housemates.

I wonder if they will send in a replacement because it's so early on in the series.

Oh no, thats so disappointing he was one of the few interesting housemates. I'm now wondering why he's gone? he did mention the "bully" word last night so perhaps he was feeling ganged up on. I suppose we won't know the reason until tomorrows HL's.

Big Brother star Mandy Longworth claims Arthur Fulford did NOT quit: 'It's more sinister than that'


It's been a few days since Arthur Fulford's departure from the Big Brother house and still the dust has yet to settle.

The Channel 5 show sparked criticism from viewers when it refused to give details or air the events leading up to Arthur's departure over the weekend, leading to allegations the public schoolboy was bullied by other contestants.

And earlier this week, the aspiring politician gave an interview in which he suggested his reason for leaving the house was that he felt "bullied and isolated".

However, speaking to OK! Online, the series' first evicted housemate, Mandy Longworth, claimed that there may be a more "sinister" reason behind Arthur's sudden and unexplained departure...

It's all a load of pure speculation on Mandy's part and should be treated as such, but still... dramz.

After denying Arthur was bullied in the house and that he "went along with the banter", Mandy said: "In my own head, I'm not sure that he did walk.

"It's all very cloak and dagger, there was no reason or explanation whatsoever about why he'd left.

"I think something deeper happened. He would never have walked; I know he wouldn't."

During the interview, Mandy also ruled out the bullying theory as the main factor in his departure.

"If he was being bullied they would have showed it and they would've tried to persuade him to stay and they would speak to the housemates that were apparently bullying him, so it can't be that," she went on.

"And if he had walked, it would have been shown! Whether he said something wrong, or he just walked – it would have been shown.

"The fact that it's not and nobody's saying anything leads me to believe that it's something a little bit more sinister."

I forgot to comment on this earlier, but she really does have a point. BB would never miss an opportunity to air something contraversal, yet if he just quit the show, they would show the conversation.

Unless one of the HM's who was in the house when Arthur left knows the real reason and tells all, I think I'm clutching at straws now
