45th Anniversary Cast Reunion

Jock Ewing Fan

Telly Talk Star
Yeah.

However they have missed a significant opportunity to bring back the other break out key character Pam Ewing played by the lovely Victoria Principal. :(

Considering that she has repeatedly dissed the fans by not reprising the role, despite many opportunities, I don't feel much
from her absence. I get that she was a key part of the series, but if she doesn't care...

The organiser of the event made a speech in which he said he had tried his hardest to get VP to go to the reunion, but she politely declined and sent a big bouquet of yellow Texas roses which he proudly showed to the audience.
I certainly didn't miss her presence, but you would think she could attend events for her fans. Like us all, they won't be around forever.

Wonder why Susan Howard has not been at any events, including 25 year reunion. She was a huge part of the show as Donna but seems all but forgotten. Has she been shut out, or no interest in being included?
Susan Howard was at the 30th at SF - maybe she has moved on - same with VP, Dallas isnt her bread and butter, she doesnt need it - it was part of her life for less than 10 years and she moved on, we all do, circumstances change
She acknowledges that but I dont think people should hold it against her - She is the only reason i would have considered going, but Ive done my Dallas cast chasing and more than happy with my lot - but TNT changed my view and my opinion on some people in the show and not for the better.

Barbara didnt attend events and never got a hard time for not attending. Larry would go to anything for Cash and $$$ - he loved money - and if the price was right he was there and would bring Pat and Linda with him.

Glad you got to go @LMLDallas78 - please tell me Patrick told his Irish spring soap story -

Well, she was at the 30th, and even gave an "Ohhhhhh, Raaaaaaaaaaaay!" from the balcony. Were any of her scenes used in 2004's RETURN TO SOUTHFORK reunion?

Maybe it's like Victoria: sometimes yes, sometimes no.

The producers have "dissed" fans, not Victoria. Even though they took their anger at her for leaving Dallas out on her character, she was still willing to play Pam one final time if they would only guarantee her closure for Bobby and Pam, but THEY wouldn't. And when Cynthia Cidre tried to keep dangling the Will She/Won't She carrot in front of fans, Victoria put a stop to it. I'd say that shows a lot respect for fans. And she's always spoken positively about her Dallas colleagues despite digs at her. Just because she doesn't show up at Dallas events, it doesn't mean that she doesn't appreciate Dallas fans.

No he didn't tell that story, he was actually rather quiet compared to when I've seen him on TV/online interviews. Everyone had an equal chance to speak, some of the same stories obviously, but also ones I hadn't heard before. The clips they used were well chosen too, not the usual ones you would expect.

Lol, he was probably jet lagged after flying home from London with Linda Purl.

I'm wondering if anyone filmed anything.

I must check YouTube to see if anything has been uploaded to it.

Good to see everyone had a great time. :)
There was filming but not sure who, I've been checking around too!

Thank you so much for sharing your photos and experience with us Lisa. I am so pleased to hear that you were able to attend this event after all. Meeting the Dallas cast for the first time is such a thrilling experience. I am happy for you that you got the chance to meet them. :spinning:
Thank you Karin, it certainly was a thrilling experience. I was totally star struck like a little child. I spent some of the time crying, feeling so many emotions. That's how I imagined I would feel if I'd done it years ago and I'm so pleased I felt like that now.

I would've done exactly the same thing. I tear up and get quite emotional at times too.

I'm glad you enjoyed yourself and got to meet some of the stars of the show. :)
