It's dumb as shit yes. But I cant really be mad, I mean it doesn't take anything away from the original show. The same way as it doesn't add anything to it.

It's just there... This thing that's sort of Dynasty but just not.

As camp as Dynasty became it can hold its head high over this reboot. Dame Joan's portrayal of Alexis will never be tarnished by Nicolette's version. I've been watching some youtube clips of Nicolette's entrance as Alexis and the pool fight with her daughter and thankfully I've decided not to watch this nonsense now that I subscribe to Netflix. Looking at this series kind of reminds me of that other scenario when Lady GaGa released the song Born This Way and Madonna was questioned about it.


What's the word I'm looking for? That's right....reductive.​
