Can you imagine that before the TNT show this was the last we ever saw of Bobby Ewing on screen?
Since this was after "War of the Ewings" in my mind this appearance meant that Bobby & Pam ended up together again in the end. ;)

Karin, thank you so much for posting these awesome screen caps of Bobby and Pam from their appearance on Family Guy.:) In my mind, Bobby and Pam reunited after War of the Ewings and Bobby's marriage to Ann and TNT's Dallas didn't exist and they were part was a huge bad dream of Pam's. ;)

Great pictures - They were the ultimate couple of Dallas, perfect and what a chemistry (they had more of it than JR and Sue Ellen, you route for them to work things out and stay together than you did for JR. and Sue Ellen or Ray and Donna, at least I did).

I definitely think that Bobby & Pam were meant to be the main couple on Dallas, as the storylines pitched them as Dallas Romeo & Juliett, the starcrossed lovers whose love was constantly put to a test as one obstacle after another was thrown in their way and all the time they came out of it stronger together.

I agree that Patrick Duffy & Victoria Principal had great chemistry. They worked very well together, even Patrick has said so.

But I don't think their chemistry can be compared to what Larry Hagman & Linda Gray had, as they did develop an off-screen friendship that lasted for decades after the show went off the air. So I think they had a stronger bond and that radiated off the screen and could still be visible in the Dallas TNT incarnation of the show.

I also think that Steve Kanaly & Susan Howard had a great chemistry. So actually I think all three couples worked so well and still have a strong fan-following because of great casting in the first place, combined with great storylines that allowed all the actors to develop their characters and go on a journey together. I think a reason Dallas is and remains my most favorite tv-series, is because I love most of the characters and couples. That has rarely happened on any other show. It really was a great ensemble show. :)

Southfork88, pdfan, and Karin, I love all the screen caps the three of you posted of Bobby and Pam.:) Bobby and Pam's lovestory and the feud between the Barnes-Ewing families was the heart and soul of original Dallas.:) Dallas was never the same show after Pam and Victoria Principal left the show in 1987.:(
