Dallas (HD) is Back in Italy ... on Warner TV !!

Tragic news.
After the 1985-1986 season, the Italian schedule completely skipped the next two seasons. This time around, they've recovered the Dream Season; perhaps the third rescheduling will see the 1986-1987 season, then 1987-1988.

A huge disappointment !

This is what I hope!

Haleyville: the worst episodes of Dallas.

And the restoration of these episodes is terrible, both video and audio are of poor quality.

I won't watch them again, I saw them again a few months ago.

Episode 9, "Counter Attack": Dallas becomes Mission: Impossible!

Today: "Conundrum" followed by "Digger's Daughter".
Dallas starts again!

I truly hope they've also found the dubbing of the 1986-1987 and 1987-1988 seasons. Fingers crossed, and... long live Warner Italia!

Perhaps this could explain why Dallas has not screened in Australia. Warners are frantically dubbing it to Aussie slang.

I kid of course. For goodness sake Warners just offer my favourite series to watch here in Oz.

I´m on the verge of a nervous breakdown by just thinking that the upcoming "Dallas" re-run in Spain could be in re-dubbed version with modern voices...

:hair:

On October 5th, Warner TV will be replaced by another TV channel. No more Dallas!

Luckily I managed to watch almost all the episodes that aired.

How ironic all this is! They seem to go on a European Tour as Madonna airing the whole series from one country to another, but never at the same time! "Dallas" will very likely start over in Spain next November or December, from beginning to end by first time ever!!

Larry: "Hello darlin´! Wanna appear on my show and be my lover?"
Madonna: "Not in my worst nightmares, you old fart! I´m gonna conquer the world!"

Yesterday, with the closure of Warner TV channel 37, the third rerun of Dallas in HD and Italian dubbing was suspended. The series was interrupted in the 1979-1980 season with the death of Digger and the acquittal of Jock on murder charges.
