Finally something worth watching....

....I'm already halfway through the first episode and the HD treatment looks superb. And the soundtrack through my soundbar is awesome.

Not as yet @Willie Oleson...I was so excited to hear the news about Dallas I'm watching it first. My goodness it looks great. I now have a love/hate relationship with Dallas because of what it became but honestly it's been such a long time since I've had the opportunity to watch Lorimar Dallas I think I may fall in love with it again...warts and all.

Many here on tellytalk will know my DVD collection of Dallas finished with "Swan Song" as Warner Bros stopped releasing the series here in Australia. I was so annoyed about that. Then my excitement grew again when it was announced Dallas was given the HD treatment and it might be possible I could purchase a box set. Well I think that concept has been axed. Thank the Lord Amazon Australia has come to my rescue.

Does Knots Landing start as a slow burn series or does it jump right in on the back of Dallas success? Perhaps that's a question I should post over at Knots.
