I was wondering if the above would ever happen, considering that the Beale family got rebuilt when Ian and Cindy returned and the fact the Beales/Fowlers were the longest serving family originally, although the Fowlers are depleted with only Michelle remaining. Also, as well as the fact The Fowlers acquired 45 Albert Square once before Arthur passed away, wouldn't it make sense for Michelle to ever move into either 27/29 Albert Square or the Walford Towers flat The Beales used to live in during the 1980s if we're going to go off that sort of logic?

Finally, for EastEnders to kill off Martin Fowler in the 40th anniversary was a mistake also and somewhat destroyed The Fowlers, at least Martin Fowler was always more respectable than Ian Beale,and sometimes I wonder if EastEnders killed off Pete Beale too early in 1993, he wouldn't have tolerated Phil's bullying of Ian, despite Pete being scared of Grant.
