THE HOODOO OF BAMBOO, set in Savannah, Georgia, all about Dominique's Cajun aunt who moves from New Orleans and then adopts her niece's stage name (she's a bit of a social climber) and performs spells on the hapless locals. All from her kitchen.
COMING UP ROSES, about Rose, the only-slightly-less-fabulous twin sister of Reichsmarschall Hermann Goering who, along with Tom Carrington and Jacqueline Perrault, concocts a barbaric postwar scheme to harvest the ashes of six million jews from the crematoriums of Auschwitz and Dachau in order to fertilize her garden, with the pretense of selling these flowers of death for the purposes of atonement in order to raise funds for a foundation intent on compensating the victims' surviving families... But with the windfall profits achieved, Rose Goering (who eventually marries into the American political Bush dynasty) just funnels the amassing fortune into a labyrinth of shadowy European organizations intent on establishing the Fourth Reich once again -- when and if that crystal skull buried somewhere under Denver is found and returned to Eva Braun.
Those bitches. The bitches.
