Happy belated 39th to THE COLBYS! On the 20/11/85 we got a extra DYNASTY. It was too bad Cecil didn't live to see his family bitching; gassing, dining, singing, bed hopping, badmouthing more than ever (on a new scale) and 'UFOing'. Oh well at least Alexis wasn't on the spaceship or was she, after all? Her daughter comes back to the fold. No show like a Fallon show.

1985 seems like a lifetime ago.

Barbara Stanwyck's nickname in Hollywood was Missy. Barbara (a.k.a. Connie) and John Forsythe (a.k.a. Blake) are dancing, at a party. Irving J. Moore is directing. Missy kept turning her face to the camera, while dancing; ('behind the scenes' of filming DYNASTY, in 1985):

Irving stopped the camera and whispered:

"Missy, I hate the way you're cutting my picture."

Barbara replied, with a deadpan look: "You don't like the way I'm cutting your picture? Howard Hawks never had a problem with it."

I’ve said it before that while season one was a bit messy, the scenes where Sable and Connie locked horns were always top notch.

The UFO scene was very polished, for 1987. Who would have thought most of the ship came from the back of a camera truck, of course mixed with effects.
