I think that's right.
"Shed-ule" used to be more common here; if you said "sked-ule", you were accused of trying to sound American.
Now it's reversed; if you say "shed-ule" (which I still do), you're accused of trying to sound English.

I mean you are accused of trying to sound like you are from England, by which they probably mean posh, and Australians like to believe we are classless.
