"Shed-ule" used to be more common here; if you said "sked-ule", you were accused of trying to sound American.
Now it's reversed; if you say "shed-ule" (which I still do), you're accused of trying to sound English.
I mean you are accused of trying to sound like you are from England, by which they probably mean posh, and Australians like to believe we are classless.Why would you be accused of trying to sound English if you say it the English way?
