Nathalie was surely deeply hurt by the decision to kill her character and fire her. I really can relate to that.
And I also think that she genuinely love her new role. Her new show is based on an existing foreign show that was very successful so I think it's bigger for her. It's on a bigger broadcast, it will give her more exposure, and I wish for her that it will be a success.
And this would be a great karma justice for her. And maybe a lesson for the CW...

It does bug me when I read NuDynasty fan chatter elsewhere (yes, there is fan chatter elsewhere, inferior though it may be 
) that seems centered around how poor NK was done wrong, that they can't wait for the producers to hire her back and have the show become the masterpiece that it was in season one. At times it seemed like every discussion about the show (even stuff having nothing to do with Celia or the Cristals) would be re-directed back to discussions of the Nathalie Kelley firing.
Yes, I liked Celia and was sorry they fired NK. But lord, these people need to find other aspects of the show to watch and discuss (or heck, even enjoy) rather than dropping that same needle on that old broken record. You can never say never on soaps, but on a scale of 1-10 (with one being 'eh, probably', ten being 'sun-rising-in-the-west impossibility') I'd give the chance of her coming back to be about an 8.5.

Rita Moreno (88) would have been more suited for Cristal than Nathalie Kelley just because she can turn s..t into gold. NK was beautiful but emotionless/ cold in that part. And while I like James Mackay as an actor he was also wrong for the role with his puppy-dog look. Rafael de La Fuente is hot so couple (is that a real verb since Love Island?) him with Tony The Gardener or dead Matthew Blaisdel (and dye the actor's hair Corley-blond because of Adam's poison) if they don't want to recast Steven. BUT NK is right about recasting as a blessing: Yes to Cristal 2+3 and Alexis 2.5 (can't count Liz Gillies as full)!
Oh you can call her Alexis 3.0 if you want. Because there was also Amy Sutherland playing Alexis under bandages. And Amy did a great job under this bandages. She really felt like it was Nicolette under them. So she also count as a 0.5 lol
