What ending would you give to all of the characters?

I would have Steven return and reunite with Sam....

I would have Culhene end up with Nina.

I'm not really invested in Dom, Jeff, Blake, Cristal, Kirby or Amanda so whatever...

I'd like to see Adam finally make peace with his family...

And I would love to see Fallon walk away from all of the drama and move into the family compound that she and Liam bought with their kids. I think they are going to have a boy and a girl since all of her dreams had a boy and a girl.

I would do it as tommie said, except that Fallon is standing on the altar when all this happening, singing The Morning After from the Poseidon Adventure.

Instead of the end credits they'll show hundreds of tweets saying what an iconic queen she is.

In all honesty, I'm in two minds about it - on one hand, most people would probably like the show to wrap up in a neat bow, but the more I think about it the only way for a soap to go out is with as big of a cliffhanger as possible.

It would be foolish to end the series with a neat, little bow because these people have led messy lives from day one. Writing them suddenly all having happy endings would not be realistic storytelling. That said, there are certain characters who deserve happiness and others who....don't. The show could take advantage of time-jumps near the end to help them give long-term story endings for the characters, which if done judiciously, could give the viewers a better feeling of "happy ending" than just suddenly having everyone's lives straighten out.

I've been nursing along this story idea of their using Steven's return to re-enact the return of Matthew Blaisdel from the OG, with Adam taking the brunt of his violent anger. I just can't fully endorse sweet, poor Steven being shown as crazy or violent, even if the violence feels so justified. I think Adam needs to go down hard. Amanda, bless her, isn't the one for the job, even if Kirby were to share some of Anders's book of secrets info to help bring him down. Steven, more than anyone, needs to be the one to expose just how insane Adam is under that veneer of civility and reclaim his place in the family that Adam gloated about taking from Steven in that hospital scene years ago.

Steven could simply scare Adam to death. You know, intriguing message about meeting on the rooftop (or something with a balcony or very breakable windows), Adam "no this can't be true!!" and then pulls a Joshua Rush. That wouldn't make Steven a murderer.

Alexis's sister Isabella (Sable) could show up in the finale, played by Nicollette Sheridan. "I see the family resemblance..." Dex could quip as she attempts to seduce her sister's husband.

I agree that I think they're both putting Dominique and Culhane back together plus they won't be able to resist giving Fallon a miracle pregnancy. In all honesty, this isn't a show that's going to get a revival in a few years, so I think they could go all out with Adam's comeuppance in the series finale, either by Amanda or, hopefully, Steven (though I wouldn't count on the latter option).

I know a lot of people would take a Steven return/resolution any way they can get it. I, however, am not sure it would be worth it if they cannot (or will not) get James McKay back to play it. It sounds simplistic, but I feel like all that stuff happened to "McKay's Steven," and if some random guy comes in calling himself Steven and pounds out justice on Adam for what happened, it just would not be as satisfying. When the other recasts occurred, we were given time to get used to them. In a recast Steven situation, it would all be so rushed that I couldn't help but feel the story didn't provide the catharsis so many want such a story to provide.

Not too long ago I would have been fine with Dex getting killed off, but after the most recent episode, I actually enjoy Dex and Alexis's interactions and hope they keep him on. Could his love and gentle persuasion make her become a better person? It would be nice to see something like that occur, but since we don't have time for such character growth, it might be enough that they end the series still married, with the implication they will be happy.

If they can't/won't bring back James McKay, the easiest solution would be for Amanda to find out that Adam did kill him. That way we have a resolution to that particular plotline and the comeuppance would be even more justified.

Tis indeed a shame indeed that Anders is dead, because if he were alive to discover what Adam did to Steven, Anders would not have hesitated to send Adam to the bottom of the lake. Would anyone really care that he disappeared? Anders was such a bad-ass that he could get away with it; no one else on the cast would be able to pull off such a crime. Well, Fallon of course since they would never write her failing at anything....but they (probably) would not have her do something that drastic.

They already displayed a flair for gruesome accidental deaths (Laura Van Kirk), so perhaps a similar fate could befall Adam and leave everyone's hands (mostly) clean like @Willie Oleson suggested.

James lives in Australia I think and wasn’t treated very well by the powers of this show , I doubt he will return for a few lousy scenes and Steven will be ignored for the few episodes left ( the show hasn’t tried to give the fans what they wanted to see since season 1 so the demand for closure on Steven probably won’t happen, at least not in a satisfying way)yes a recast won’t work for one episode it hasn’t worked for 3 years with any of the others either, it just made the series cheap.
I want this to end with Adam getting into it with Dex and lunges after him and he accidentally pushes Dex and Alexis over the balcony but with Dex this time turning around mid air and crushing Alexis putting an end to such a horribly miscast recast of the most iconic characters on tv , with them ending on the floor below and dex on top of Alexis getting up while she with eyes open and blood dripping out of her mouth is done. Then Claudia torches la mirage killing Culhane Sam Liam and Kirby while theyre doing the usual screen kill time, with their horrible acting skills or really complete lack of any.
Amanda leaves Georgia and the carringtons to go find herself never to be heard from again and was last sighted at the cubby hole in NYC,
Finally we have a scene with all three Crystals together getting into a brawl over who’s the legit Mrs C , with one entering a room in the mansion finding the other and asking may I help you who are you ,I’m Crystal Carrington who are you and what are you doing in my house
I’m Crystal Carrington who let you in here , and another walking in saying who are you I’m mrs Crystal,,,, ..no I am . Then Blake gets arrested for bigamy (just to amplify what a mess a show is bts to recast it’s female lead 3 x in 2 years but keep the writing team ), then of course the last scene has to end with Fallon, and I want Elizabeth Gilles (it’s break out discovery) getting on a ufo never to be heard from again, which is most likely going to be the case.

Liam remembered Adam hit him over the head in 3x08, they fought on a loft, Adam fell off. Adam was later thrown out of the Carrington mansion.

Crew are running about and we finally see Joan Collins as Alexis in a directors chair. She flips through a massive script with the title “My Dynasty: the true story told by Alexis Carrington”. She looks up and says, “Dahling, it's fabulous. I however, remember it just a little bit differently.” And the scene fades to black on her and we have one final theme song.
