Here's that big wonderful smile Toni. Without Kenny as Cliff Barnes the Barnes Ewing feud would be over and as any die hard Dallas fan will tell you the Barnes Ewing feud was crucial to the success of the show.

Kenny was a big part in the success of Dallas, I loved him very much in the role. The character could be a conniving, loveable jerk but Kenny played him with layers. He had his faults but was still charismatic and his heart was ultimately in the right place. May He Rest In Peace with the Lord.

I agree. It kept the Barnes-Ewing feud on the show, even if it was watered down a bit.
I wish the writers had been more creative, but maybe agendas, egos, etc were too much to overcome.

What if...

Jock a a son/daughter by Amanda
Digger had an unknown son/daughter.
Steve Forrest was Jock (As he should have been in my opinion)
Jason Ewing - alive!
This could have had a fresh dynamic, with JR, Bobby, Ray and Cliff making unlikely alliances
with each other and new characters.
