I think it went to the core with Blake.Yes, he did. Maybe that's why DYNASTY worked as well as it did (narrative and tonal flaws aside). Krystle and Alexis, mostly because of the casting, really did come off as complementary opposites: Krystle, the empty-armed madonna, soulful and sad; Alexis, the whore who emptied Krystle's arms as often as possible (e.g., causing miscarriages, Alexis & Blake in Singapore).
"The two sides of Everywoman," as Linda described it. Polar archetypes of femininity. Lailah and Lilith.
Until Madonna came around who was also a whore and messed the whole thing up.
