Of the Dallas stars we have lost who do you miss the most and why?

We're now into 2024 and Dallas will be 46 years old this year.

Out of all the Dallas stars that are sadly no longer with us, who do you miss the most?

For me it's a three way split (get what I meant there!) between Barbara Bel Geddes, Jim Davis and Larry Hagman. All three of them were all so crucial to the success of the show and their acting abilities second to none.

Stars such as Dack Rambo and Timothy Patrick Murphy have a special place in my heart because they are fellow members of the LGBTQ+ community of which I'm a part of myself.

I want to dedicate this thread to all the stars of Dallas who sadly are no longer with us. :(

I miss them all because each and every one of them played a special part, no matter how small, in very special Dallas.

Of course it goes without saying the top 3 as mentioned above (Jim, Barbara and Larry) Jim's death hit me the hardest because I was so young and was so fond of Jock. Larry's death also had an impact on me because of what he did for Dallas and I so wanted TNT Dallas to do well.

Also special mentions for me are Timothy Patrick Murphy and Jared Martin. I loved both of them and the roles they played. And of course Ken Kercheval for his portrayal of JR's best nemesis.

I'm grateful every day we still have my beloved Linda and Patrick, but unfortunately time stands still for no one and that's something I can't even begin to think of.

Although he wasn't a Dallas star one of the saddest deaths for me last year was that of David Jacobs who created the show. God Bless Him.

I'm a bit of a soppy sod and it hit me rather hard that we'd sadly lost him because Dallas is one of my most favourite TV shows of all. :(
