I have to agree with you there. Dynasty 2.0 needs it but it has to be organic, not thrown in as a plot stunt. Dallas TNT tried this and failed. People still talk about that hideous threesome John Ross had with his wife and mistress. It was out of place on Dallas.

I don't understand why. If people were really paying attention, they'd know the threesome made absolute sense for the characters involved, and was an exciting little surprise, too. It may have been out of place on the ORIGINAL Dallas, but DALLAS 2.0 season 3 was all for it. This happened in 2014. They'd have to do something much worse and riskier than a damn threesome to warrant such reactions.

The reboot, if it happens, will air in 2017-2018. One advantage a soap could have now is more freedom to be sexually expressive, including (shocker!!) having two men kiss and show affection for each other.

If they're smart, then they should withhold the "Alexis" character for at least 4 seasons. Because many viewers will want to watch the moment she returns to Denver, and they need to stretch NuDynasty for as long as possible. Then, after season 4 or 5, we'll have 5 wonderful Alexis-seasons and after that 2 or 3 Sable-seasons. It could be 13 seasons!
Of course she should be mentioned every now and then - to tease the audience, but this time I'd introduce Ben for Blake's trial. Perhaps Cecil could orchestrate the whole thing eventhough he has no intention to send Blake to prison.
