Maggie's final episode was overall sad and of course macabre, at the conclusion. I liked the part where Richard sent the gift of the large diamond ring to her and how she comforted Emma. Reading between the lines I got the impression the prison bed was used many times by others. Certainly not something a fine woman such as Maggie would be accustomed to.
Yeah the first episode of season nine 'The Price Of Freedom' was the precursor for a dark and sadistic final year, of what used to be a great enjoyable series. DALLAS season 13 (DVD count) was better than FC 9 and that isn't a high bar, to compare with. Imho DYNASTY season 9 was the best and highest quality final year, of the four American primetime 80's shows. Thanks David Paulsen.
Susan Sullivan with her new hairstyle, for the beginning of Maggie's end.
Susan Sullivan (84 on 18th November) describes what gets her up and going, on a daily basis (November 2025):
"It’s basically three things: I need to have something to do, something to love and something to hope for. These and a good cup of coffee and I’m good for a few hours, before my first nap.”
Susan's lung cancer is in remission and her secondary cancer a lymphoma is stipulated as muted.
