I think Liz Gillies looks beautiful whether she's a blonde or a brunette. She's just one of these women that can pull off both shades no matter what.

When did the RIVERDALE promo premiere? At the end of August, about 6 weeks before the premiere, as it is often the case with returning shows. Not to mention that 3-minute Comic-con trailer that premiered at the end of July.
We got the very first glimpse of the new season of DYNASTY just 2 weeks before the season premiere. That fact alone tells you all you need to know about how much effort (and money) The CW is investing into Dynasty at this point.
It's really an afterthought, hence the weak promo.

I'll be honest with you, folks. That promo alone made me want to give up on the show. I enjoyed the season finale in May, it was their best episode and they come up with this? There's no tension, no suspense, nothing. It makes the new season look like some stupid filler show. It's a joke and The CW's mistake of course.

It's a mess because of this Cristal recast thing. The should have even teased the real Cristal's entrance. Maybe an homage to Dominique's teetering stilettos at La Mirage or something. The trailer doesn't hint at all at where the show is taking us. It's just random clips.

True, but to see them again, even in random snippets, made me realize how much I want it.
I don't know how good or bad it's going to be, but I hope that all our predictions and speculations are wrong.

Hmmm...so at the 22 second mark somebody (I'm assuming a journalist) says, "Wake up Carrington, you got played by your wife..." Then Blake lets rip with a left hook. The way this trailer is presented tells me the writers have gone for a time jump. I do agree with others though this trailer could have worked better with a darker tone. Perhaps a scene showing distant figures, all dressed in black, holding umbrellas (since it's raining of course) at a cemetery. No theme music, just the priest saying ashes to ashes, dust to dust. I know....trailers like this have been done to death (pun intended) but the opening of this trailer implies the Carrington's have moved on and are in party mode.

So strange, when they were shooting S2 of the original show, i had my very first year at school at that time. And now i'm in my mid 40s and Dynasty is shooting S2 AGAIN.

Its like you get to be around for what you missed as a kid... Only, hopefully NuDynasty will get its act together and they have some great stories lined up. ^^

I updated the OP with the promo from the original CW YouTube channel, because the TV Promos channel is gone!!! I always wondered how that channel survived all these years, since YouTube has become very strict about policy violations. Well, as of right now over 12000 promos they've posted there since 2013 are gone, some of which were only available on their channel.

You can watch the full extended promo on Netflix, and Rafael posted it on his instagram. And it includes characters that were cut from the promo The CW released on their social media (Steven, Alexis, Culhane). Also, theres a scene where Alexis (in a wheelchair) shatters what looks like Cristal's ashes. Then theres also a scene with Alexis and Blake making out, and more of Kirby talking to Anders. I guess the official page didn't post the scenes with Culhane, Steven and Alexis to "keep the suspense" on who escapes the fire - which is pretty useless since they're already posting shorter clips from episode one of those characters anyway.

I just noticed a tiny bottom-of-the-page "20-word Review" blurb in a recent edition of Entertainment Weekly that says:
