Southern Cross | Fan-made DALLAS spin-off

I was just on YouTube and saw this video. Do you think this would have worked? Why would Rebecca Wentworth be in it?

[Rove]

The theme music doesn't sit well with me. I could see a spin-off using Alexis Smith however her character was pigeon-holed on Dallas by making her bat-shit crazy. Goodness knows how she was conducting herself all those years in Europe prior to discovering Clayton was going to marry Miss Ellie.

What an oddball use of some characters like, Rebecca and Peter. I don't see how they fit into Southern Cross.

Nicely done with the Dallas three-way split but in the shape of the Texas flag.

Why would Rebecca Wentworth be in it?

I'm guessing romantic interest for Clayton since Dusty is there for Sue Ellen.

Ditto, with Peter complicating Sue Ellen's life. I can see him becoming quite obsessive.

Anyone else getting Airwolf vibes from that theme song?

[Willie Oleson]

It should have happened. More is always better.

Peter and Dusty fighting over Sue Ellen with Clayton in the picture as well. Enough to drive J.R. mad.
