its Pam, Mark, Afton and Cliff

One of my favourite Dallas eras. There was a real power shift occurring around this time with Pam, Mark, Cliff and Afton at the expense of the Ewing family. If I remember correctly this was around the time Miss Ellie was recuperating away from Dallas which left just JR and Bobby eating Teresa's leftovers each night. This felt like a natural progression in the story of Dallas after the fallout for Ewing Oil.

In the photo @Barbara Boo! you have captured there is real happiness amongst our outsiders. Afton (now likeable) is happy for Cliff because for once he isn't focused on JR or that Ewing family. Mark appears smitten standing next to the love of his life. And for once Pam appears relaxed since the Ewing family rarely celebrated anything.

What a shame the writers decided to rid of this new power foursome.
