Another convincing win for Arsenal this weekend: a 4-1 win over Sunderland. Olivier Giroud is back with a vengeance, scoring 2 goals. I think he is one of the most underrated strikers in the Premier League. He's not flashy, he's not exceptionally fast but he consistently knocks the goals in for Arsenal every season. Arsenal are second in the league and are looking like one of the favourites to win the title. I have a feeling it could be our year.

Arsenal qualified for the second stage of the Champion's League, round of 16, for the 17th consecutive year. They did it the hard way, coming from 0-2 down to beat Ludogorets 2-3 in the last minutes of the match with an outstanding goal from the ever brilliant Mesut Orzil.

No other British team, and very few elsewhere in Europe, can come close to Arsenal's level of consistency in the contest. They just now need to go on and win it.

What a week for Arsenal! Top of their group in the Champion's League and now top of the Premier League after a convincing win over Stoke City today. More important than the wins though is the way Arsenal are currently playing, the passing and movement of the team is amazing and goals are coming from many players. The team are playing better than they did last season when they came second in the Premier league. Could they go one further this season?

Arsenal have drawn Bayern Munich in the Champions League. Whether Arsenal win their league in the first round or come second they are always destined to play Bayern or Barcelona.

Whatever Mr Wenger achieves it's never enough for some Arsenal fans. Yesterday he guided Arsenal to our 3rd FA cup final in 4 years and is one match away from winning it a record 13th time for the team and 7th time him himself personally. To put that into perspective, Mr Wenger is on the verge of winning the FA Cup personally more times than Liverpool and Chelsea have won it in their entire history. Whatever the result next month, Arsenal fans should forever be in his debt.

I think he has been a great manager, and would hate to be a football manager in Premier league, its not like Arsenal are bottom of the table, but i know how important it is to be in the top 4 places

I still think its sucks that ranieri who led Leicester to victory last year, got the sack and Im not happy at seeing Mourinho at Man Utd!

My dad - a lifelong Arsenal fan thinks Wenger has had a great run, but is getting too old, not getting the results he should and should call it a day for someone else
I disagree

People that say "Wenger Out" should say what they would like a new manager to differently. Mr Wenger isn't perfect but he's the best manager that Arsenal have had in my lifetime and continues to do a great job, as getting to the FA Cup final yet again proves.

I live in Scotland and Scottish football is crap and i have no real interst in it now. It went pear shaped for Rangers a few years ago and no one will touch Celtic
For a long time I have followed 2 clubs in England, Arsenal as its my dads club from a young age and Chelsea

Today i couldnt lose lol but i so wanted Arsenal to win this one, for Wenger
and they did, Sanchez was brilliant and i hope he stays and same goes for Wenger

The FA Cup final was a great result for us Arsenal fans. Remarkable, the victory means that Arsene Wenger has won the FA Cup more times than Liverpool and Chelsea have in their entire history.

But even better than winning the FA Cup, the best news is that Arsene Wenger has agreed a new 2 year contract. I feared he would go but he as always been loyal to Arsenal and I couldn't be more pleased.

I finally got round to watching the Arsene Wenger documentary showing now on Prime Video

I loved it, what a lovely man he was and ahead of his time in terms of training, fitness, diet

He seems such a humble guy who happened to be a brilliant manager with great players at his club and so nice to rewatch clips from the 1990s and 2000s

Maybe he would like the England job now?!

Thanks Mr Wenger - up there with the best of them and had a little tear in my eye at his last game as manager

1986-2013 if George Graham AND Arsene Wenger had joined Manchester United and Alex Ferguson had gone to Arsenal. London is a better catchment area rather than two second-division Northern cities in Manchester and Liverpool and Arsenal would have won 20 titles and set a joint-record along with Liverpool instead of Manchester United.

Ultimately, it was Arsene Wenger who saw off Alex Ferguson and went on to be more successful with a series of cup runs afterwards between 2014-2018, and how Kenny Dalglish finally got his knighthood eventually and did more for English football than Alex Ferguson ever did, where Ferguson NEVER deserved to get the knighthood he got and dropped Manchester United in the shit eventually with The Glazer takeover, and I wonder and hope if his biggest rival Sir Kenny Dalglish will ever become a Lord similar to how entrepreneur Alan Sugar did eventually.

I sometimes wonder how the Arsenal teams of both 2000 and 2005 would have fared against each other.

It's the hope that makes being an Arsenal fan so difficult. Always the bridesmaid, never quite getting there. Still have 3 chances for a trophy this season but feeling less confident about those now.

Well done Manchester City, they were the better team on the day.

I fear they will be the bridesmaids again but hopefully will win the premier league
The only thing that gives me some reason for optimism is that Manchester City are not as consistent and resilient as they have been in recent seasons so they may still drop points. However, when you're hopes are based on another team not doing well rather than your own team winning then its concerning times ahead.

Talk about leaving it late, BUT a win is a win!

Here's to next weeks game at home xx

That 16 year old Max Dowman has a great future ahead of him, I wouldn't be too bothered about my GCSEs right now!!
