Do we have any Jane Austen or PRIDE & PREJUDICE fans out there? My wife and her sisters are big fans of PRIDE & PREJUDICE (specifically the 1813 novel, the 1995 BBC miniseries, and the 2005 screen version, while I am at least semi-partial to the 1940 classic Hollywood version). Of course, there are multiple other adaptations, but these are the ones I'm most familiar with.
And then there's THE OTHER BENNET SISTER, a British television series, that currently includes ten half-hour episodes. It is such a refreshing, sweet, funny take on the age-old story, this time from the point-of-view of the overlooked middle sister, Mary (Ella Bruccoleri).
Has anyone else watched this? Your thoughts?
