It's a long time since I've watched, so I'll throw in a few that still linger in the collective consciousness. In the interests of more episodes being represented I've chosen to omit season finales as they've already had their own round:

1. Divorce, Ewing Style (1980)
2. Election (1978)
3/4. Reunion - Parts I & II (1978)
5. Who Done It (1980)
6. Return Engagements (1979)
7. The Reckoning (1983)
8. Showdown At San Angelo (1981)
9. The Split (1981)
10. The Letter (1983)

Gosh this was harder than I thought as there are so many excellent episodes. I could easily list almost all the episodes from the earlier seasons here as most of the stand alone episodes were excellent. But oh well here we go...

1. Digger's Daughter
2. Return to Camelot
3. The Search
4. Things Ain't Going Too Good at Southfork
5. Wedding Bell Blues
6. Swan Song
7. A House Divided
8. Royal Marriage
9. Black Market Baby
10. Anniversary

1. Swan Song - the Magnificant, bitter sweet, romantic, sad, climax of the entire shows run. Victoria shines and the show will never quite be the same again and the cast and the viewers know it

2. The Oil Barons Ball III from 84-85 with the poignant freeze frame of stunning Pam after JR announced Bobby's engagement to THAT WOMAN!

3. Blast from the Past which had the only moment in the entire series run where, at Pam and marks wedding, every single character there is happy. But this is Dallas so that is not for long

4. 85-86 oil barons ball ( the winds of change ) where gorgeous Pam puts the cat among the pigeons and there's that beautiful moment with Ellie and Pam and Susan Howard's performance is mezmorizing

5. Resurrection where Linda is amazing and mark romantically returns. Yay!!

6. The Letter. So sad. Brilliantly done. Katherine is superb.

7. Love stories. Marks tearful departure.

8. Hush hush sweet Jessie where Katherine gets bitch slapped and lovely scene with Pam and Bobby

9. Bail out in 84-85 where Pam is told by the fake detective that JR sent her on the wild goose chase and she slaps him

10. The very next episode after that, legacy of hate, where Pam slaps JR after his naughtiness. i promise I don't have a thing for Pam slapping folks but they made great tv ;-)

Aside from the cliff-hangers here are my 10 DALLAS favourites:

1. Digger’s Daughter
2. Who Done It?
3. Bar-B-Que
4. Home Again
5. The Dove Hunt
6. Mastectomy : Part 2
7. The Fourth Son
8. The Search
9. Jock’s Will
10. Enigma

Bobby and JR are in JR’s office, after hours, discussing their latest oil deal. Sly then announces that Wes Parmalee is their next appointment. Could he really be Jock?

Wes says that he is leaving Dallas and that nobody from the family accepts him, as Jock, except maybe Ray. JR talks about the dollars again and Wes claims he is not there for them. What he has come about is to say goodbye to Bobby and JR, (a scene from season 9, DVD-10, 1986-’87):

JR: “That’s a very noble speech daddy, now how about the truth?”

Wes: “What truth?”

JR: “The truth that you realise you can’t pull off that little charade. You’re a fraud and we all know that.”

Wes: “How could a fraud know the things I know?”

Bobby: “The Ewings are a mighty public family. Anybody can dig up a certain amount of information on us.”

Wes: “Then you tell me how I could have found out about the little hunting trip that you, JR, Ray and me took over to lake Takapa? How we ran into that crazy old coot and his son, how they ambushed and shot me.”

Wes then raises his voice further, for JR’s benefit, “And how could I have red about thinking I was dying and telling you about Amanda, my first wife. How you had to look after me. You tell me how anyone on God’s green earth but Jock Ewing would know that?”

Bobby and JR stand beside Jock’s infamous oil painting, as Wes walks towards the elevator. The frame freezes, fade to black, the closing credits commence with the theme music.

Okay I guess my list will probably read sort of similar as my least favorite list as surprisingly enough I find the characters I don't like most annoying too!

1. Mark Graison
The way he was introduced as an old pal of Bobby's and then went after Bobby's wife was not cool in my book.
Also I didn't like his moustache or chest hair. He was a playboy masquerading as a good guy and he just annoyed me.

2. Rose McKay
Her make up and clothes was awfully trashy. Also complete mismatch for Mack.

3. Laurel Ellis
Clayton running after this young girl and Miss Ellie thinking he was having an affair was just wrong.

4. Hillary Taylor/Sheila Foley
I hated how she played a part in the scheme that got April killed.

5. Wes Parmalee/Ben Stievers
It always annoyed me how he was first introduced as Ben in the dream season and then came back as Wes the next season. I never for a second believed he was Jock either and I liked Clayton so I really saw no point in him popping up.

6. Liz Adams
Her image from the opening credits when she was licking her teeth annoyed me for some reason

7. Peter Richards
The way he was following Sue Ellen like a puppy dog sort of got on my nerves.
Also he was so fake for making Lucy think he liked her when all he wanted was to get access to Sue Ellen.

8. Mandy Winger
How she thought JR would divorce Sue Ellen for her. *yeah right*

9. Naldo Marchetta
His accent and for ruining things between Bobby and Jenna.

10. Tommy McKay
He was a bad boy doing drugs and stuff. He never appealed to me.

I didn't include any characters from the last couple of seasons since I haven't watched them in years. Most of these characters would probably easily make my top 10 but my memory of these seasons is so bad, I can't tell all these bland characters apart.

1. Jenna Wade (PP)
2. Charlie Wade
3. Tracey Lawton
4. Tommy McKay
5. Matt Cantrell
6. Roger Larson
7. Leslie Stewart
8. Rose McKay
9. Alex Ward
10. Mitch Cooper

Honorable mention:
Lucy
Ray
