General Hospital Watching General Hospital

I know...but when I take a liking to a character, I hang on well past the point of logic (see: Dr. Obrecht; Sabrina; Madeline Reeves, etc.)

But would it not be a spectacular, triumphant return for The Dominator to foil Nelle's latest mustache-twirling plot?

I would like that plot twist, but it's more likely that Sam will come to visit her children who are trapped in the nursery with Leo, to tell them their father and uncle is recovering from yet another head trauma, remember when Ava ran over him, and after surgery he had Billy Miller's face?

A few months ago I theorized that Nelle could get herself murdered in the midst of a Wiley kidnapping attempt, and I stand by my dream plotline. Most of the key suspects are still in place, too:
Michael
Carly (if only)
Willow
Julian
Lucas
Sasha
Chase
Harmony*
Valentin
Nina
* I include Harmony only because she is such a tertiary character at this point, and she could reveal that her motive was to steal back the necklace. Nelle has it, but only because she stole it from Willow that night Nelle knocked Willow unconscious. Harmony does not want the whole story of how she ended up with Willow to come out, so she killed Nelle to get the necklace back. This is obviously because I don't want Nelle to be Nina's real daughter.

I had to remove Brad from the suspect list since he appears to be staying in jail for good. In his place, we now have (Tad) Martin Gray.

I think I have come up with a convenient way to undo Valentin's takeover of ELQ. Oscar's shares. The court case surrounding who actually owns them was never really resolved. Nelle claimed she inherited them, while the probate court was deciding whether they were in trust for that charity Oscar wanted set up (sending kids to climb mountains in Africa or something). I believe Nelle gave Valentin her proxy as if she owned them, but if the court says she has no ownership then Val no longer has the majority of voting shares and a new vote has to be called. Of course, even if she emerges victorious, it might be short-lived victory--if Nelle DIES then Oscar's shares go to...Wiley, who is in Michael's custody.

What If Jocelyn killed Nelle she has been under a lot of stress since Nelle appeared in her life, finally she just snaps

The red carpet segment of the nurse's ball is usually kind of silly but today it was really beyond the pale, with random characters showing up in casual clothes to take telethon style calls and Spinelli being dragged inside by Kelly Monaco

As if it could get any more cringey...:fp: Why Frank V continues to hold this thing is beyond me.

Yes, Joss ought to be on the suspect list, too. Heck, add Bobbie as well because...well, the stress of learning she was not a grandmother but a great grandmother pushed her over the edge.

Brook Lynn might actually be valuable after all .

As usual Valentin's musical stylings, stone the show

Julian deserves to die right alongside his 'wife' after what he did to my Favorite Monica. Oh, and his longer hair makes him look his age plus a decade.

In my plot to kill Nelle and get ELQ back for the Q's I forgot that Julian is still her legal spouse, so HE would inherit the shares and cause a lot more headaches. Of course he could do the right thing and just sign the shares over to Leo, since he's "Quartermaine-adjacent" these days and needs to make it up to Monica somehow.

Sorry, I seem to think about these things a lot more than the writers do.

In other news, I am falling back in lust with Mark Lawson (Dustin, once Brody on OLTL). He ain't Ryan Paevey but he will do in a pinch.

I read of Neil's untimely demise in a synopsis and my thoughts went not to Alexis Colby, but to Rose Nylund!

Rose: "Maybe he's just a really sound sleeper."
Sophia: "You could light firecrackers in his nostrils...he's not waking up!"

Guess Alexis will be hitting the Mattress Firm Labor Day Sale.

Cyrus is more involved in multiple stories than either Valentin or Peter when they showed up

...and I am starting to think he's the one who had Neil murdered, too. Remember the back-story of his daughter who died of a drug overdose? Cyrus (or someone in his organization like Harmony) could have been responsible for her addiction/death, and Neil could have been about to reveal something incriminating about Cyrus so they poisoned/drugged him. Bonus points that they made it look like one of Sonny's baby-mamas killed him, since you know every plot has to have a Sonny angle.

Oh, no...I'm sure they buried that alongside Shiloh (given how quickly they shoveled him into the ground). I only mentioned Harmony because it would stand to reason that she should remain in the mix--not only because she's in Cyrus's organization somehow, but thanks to Willow marrying Michael, she's now "Quartermaine/Corinthos Adjacent". Imagine having to make small talk with her over the Thanksgiving pizza at Casa Quartermaine.

Since it's said repeatedly that Cyrus runs drugs, in GH-land that makes him a "bad mobster"--as opposed to Sonny, who apparently deals lollipops or cotton candy which makes him a 'good mobster' who we should all strive to emulate.

It's too bad Nelle went over the cliff, because Cyrus seemed like an ideal candidate for Nelle's Husband #4. Other than her 'death-by-kayak' hubby, she seems to have 'a type'.

Do you know how Nelle is going to return?. In a Bryan Craig mask.. That way she can gaslight Carly without having to use scarves and cologne

I think Ron Carlivati packed the masks and took them with him when he left, if you get my drift. But it would be funny to watch her act like that mouth-breathing moron.

I could usually care less about Dante, but it was kind of touching today, seeing Olivia try to speak to him
