To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Lynn Herring's debut as Lucy Coe, they had a large number of cast members wish her a happy anniversary in a social media post. One of the well-wishers was Tanisha Harper (Jordan), who was on the set in sweats/casual gear. Since the social media post was probably filmed quite recently (to be timely) and the show films its episode 5-6 weeks ahead, I'm guessing that Jordan is going to survive this car crash. The actress would have been long gone if they killed her off in episodes filmed over a month ago. [/fingers crossed]

I think Jordan survives too now. Boring! Then I no longer care who drove the other car.

When it comes to Jacinda, I really hope that she's a good person. I want Michael to have someone good by his side who isn't afraid of confrontations with others. But I have to wonder why Kristina is so smitten with her. I don't want a Kristina/Jacinda hook-up.

When it comes to Ethan, I hope he and Kristina bicker at first but with sexual undertones before they get together. She is bisexual, right?

But I wouldn't be surprised if Ethan returns with revenge on his agenda.

Cassius is growing on me. He is a bad guy, but he doesn't appear nearly as bad as Cullum and Sidwell. He seems to care not only for Lulu but also for sister Britt. At least he seems to want to save her unlike the others. So a bad guy with good sides.

When will Willow strike against Kai and Trina now that she knows that they know? It seems like someone else is bound to find out the truth soon. I vote for Nina. She won't rat Willow out but she will certainly get her eyes opened.

It hasn't been mentioned that Sidwell involved Marco in his business, at least to some degree,
which indicates that Sidwell has at least some responsibility for Marco's fate

But I wouldn't be surprised if Ethan returns with revenge on his agenda.
Considering the stuff Sidwell has done to so many of his family members, it would be more appropriate for him to ally with people out to take Sidwell down. Sidwell tried to kill Holly, Lucky, and Jason (among others) in Africa, and menaced Sasha a bit before moving on to Laura, Carly, and everyone else in PC.
When will Willow strike against Kai and Trina now that she knows that they know?
I'm no Trina fan but I don't think she deserves to have a third boyfriend die on her, so I would imagine they write him out by having Willow get him some out-of-town job offer. Not a bribe, but more of a "distraction" to make him less likely to consider ratting her out. As for Trina, she has the advantage of all the others who know: Alexis, Diane, Suzanne....if Willow thought of doing something "drastic" to Trina, Trina only needs to point out that she'd need to also do something to all the others.

A plot I'd love to see: bitter Pascal switches the labels on the medicines in Sidwell's safe. Willow starts giving Drew the meds that keep Britt's Huntington's at bay, which have no effect on him, while Britt seemingly has a Huntington's relapse on the paralytic medication, ending up bedridden and no longer any help with the cold-fusion project. Britt keeps blinking "You moron!" in Morse Code to Brad, who asks her if she needs to borrow Liz's eye mites medication.

I am not sure whether to think that the writing is contrived, convoluted or possibly better at multiple possibilities.

I like the "reformed" Ric. I still prefer him with Liz, as opposed to Dante which seems to have no chemistry
It does indicate an interesting situation when Jason returns. Can the 3 work together?
Willow keeps sinking to new lows. I don't like Nina at all, but I almost feel sorry for her.
Lulu - my goodness. Britt is not responsible for the events - she is a victim.
Lucas had more to do with those events, not that Lucas is not at fault either.
Lulu has been annoying and worthless ever since JMB departed.
Dante is better off with almost anybody.
RP should stay. His character is not all good or all bad, and has possibilities beyond this story line.
And even he deserves better than Lulu

I was just listening to a story about various American scientists inexplicably disappearing and/or dying strange deaths. It's up to something like nine of them all in the past two years or so, and the government is just now starting to look into it. What do they all have in common? Many of them were working on cold fusion research! :yikey: Truth is stranger than fiction. We'll have to wait and see if they miraculously return from the dead in two years' time.

I thought Sonny might hire Ethan, if only to have him followed to see who else Ethan is contacting.
Has Lulu considered how her actions have caused issues, including Maxie now (since she thinks Nathan is alive)
She is ..yuk. And Joss...didn't Britt save your life?

Yay! Dr. Obrecht is back! :spinning:

And no sooner is she back than the writers have her retconning her own backstory. Twice in that episode (yet never before in the roughly 13 years she's been around) she mentioned having been *married* to Cesar Faison. Up to this point they'd said that Dr. O spent years on and off pursuing Cesar while he used and discarded her as needed, that neither had ever settled in one place long enough to even "play house," much less get married. Yet she casually mentions having been married to Cesar to both Felicia and Josslyn. I assume this is the opening shot in their plans to retcon Liesl and Cesar's past to help explain Cassius's existence. I think we should also "watch this space" to see how Liesl reacts to Ross Cullum, because I think she knows a lot about his past affiliation with Cesar.

Some storylines being revised and/or developed?

Michael as the catalyst for a Brook Lyn/Chase breakup, leading to Brook Lyn/Dante?
Brennan interactions with Nina, Jacinda and Joss being changed to ?
I suppose Nina could couple with Brennan. Not exactly taking another man from Carly,
under the circumstances, but she would deserve whatever calamity Brennan brings
Lulu is insufferable. No empathy for Britt, who is a victim
If she cared anything about (false) Nathan, who seems to be surprisingly layered (RP is doing a nice job),
then Lulu would at least respect the familial relationship (even if it is...complicated)
Will Liz be a target of Willow?

We need to see where Ethan's story goes.
He may be working both sides against the middle. Ric is right to be concerned

Kelly Thiebaud is doing some great work with layered performance, not over the top.

Carlos Rota is a good actor, but I just can't believe Sidwell as all powerful,
when compared to the Cassadines.
Cyrus, (great performance by Jeff Kober) was a far more formidable adversary
Luke and Robert would have defeated him without a sweat

Somehow, I think Robert will sacrifice himself saving Jason or Anna or both
He deserves a hero's farewell

I think the show is trying to "keep" Brennan so they likely won't have Valentin get everything he wants....but at the very least they need to have Brennan do something heroic (save Anna from the clinic in France?) for Val to back off his plan to destroy Brennan. I think once Anna is back in the mix, Val will be asking "Carly who?"

Carly keeps crowing about destroying Brennan for "luring" Josslyn into the WSB but she'll likely let go of that vendetta if/when Brennan helps her get her precious Jason back. If he helps with that, she might decide not to tear his head off after all. And if Brennan were to start sniffing around Nina, you just know she will suddenly decide she wants him back because...well, the writers can't resist beating on that old drum.

I wonder if Josslyn is going to end up in Anna's former "home away from home" underneath Wyndemere. It'll be such a tender reunion with Pascal. She's made such a pest of herself this week that I think the whole town could use a break from her.

I am not sure if the writers have a definite goal. they seem to be setting multiple scenarios in motion.
Not seeing Dante/Liz scenes. Good. It just had no chemistry.
How times have changed. I never liked Ric before, but now he is a plus on the show
Alexis is the one who seems petty and mean, and Ric has plenty of reason to not like her
NLG is giving great performances though
I say that even though I find her politics to be repulsive, divisive and intolerant
Willow can't be revealed fast enough for me, Chase is a fool and I don't feel any empathy for Drew, still.
Jordan disfigured? The makeup isn't reflecting that - all I notice is some bandages and minor scars
Maybe whatever is under the bandage.

The main chatter that I see online agrees with this---that they're writing Jordan as overreacting. Which is subjective, of course, since she's still likely in shock and not behaving as she normally would. Years ago Curtis faced paralysis and a lot of his scenes featured him wallowing in self-pity....but eventually they had him come around. Others currently on canvas have faced what happened to her---most obviously and recently Michael. I assume they're waiting for Jordan to be "ready to listen" when Michael suggests she can visit his "miracle clinic in Germany" that managed to fix much more serious burns with no scars. I'm not sure the current writers even remember/know about Ava's turn in this kind of plot a few years ago. She and Jordan used to be close friends (two Jordans ago ;)) so she could also offer advice if they wanted.

It's also "overblown" that some horrible crime has been committed and that BrookLynn is hiding some terrible crime. It was obvious that Jordan and Curtis's behavior in the car caused the accident and BrookLynn didn't "leave the scene of an accident" on purpose. She literally did not know an accident had occurred. And after all these scenes of her tying herself up in knots, she might not even be the one who Jordan and Curtis encountered on the road. We still don't know if Charlotte/Danny or Isaiah were involved instead. And yet they're writing BLQ as if she needs to be lined up in front of a firing squad.
