What about a podcast get together, to celebrate the 45th premiere anniversary?

www.falconcrest.org did a memorable greetings video collection from the cast in 2021, to commerate 40 years since FC kicked off. Imho it would be great if the core cast appeared again in a podcast; to talk about the glory years of the wine saga and what better time to do this than the 45th anniversary, on the 4th December. Here are the ages of the stars:

- Margaret Ladd 81 in Nov'.
- Susan Sullivan 84 in Nov'.
- David Selby 85 last month.
- Robert Foxworth 85 in Nov'.
- Lorenzo Lamas 68 in January this year.
- William R. Moses 67 in Nov'.
- Ana Alicia 70 in Dec'.
- Jamie Rose 67 in Nov'.

Eternal rest to Jane Wyman; Mel Ferrer, Abby Dalton, Chao-Li Chi, Fr. Robert P. Curtis C.S.P., the plethora of Golden Hollywood guest stars and supporting cast who are deceased!

Susan Sullivan speaks about working with top billing Golden Hollywood star Jane Wyman; ('behind the scenes', from season 1 - two episodes into season 9, 1981 - '89):

"Jane was a very strong influence and the most professional person I ever worked with. I have seen her battle through illness and fatigue and still keep working. She says: 'Let's get this done! We have a job to do.' Then everyone gets behind her. She is always willing to help younger actors. She gave instructions nicely and with humor. She once said to me: 'You can tell anybody anything if you do it with humor.' She ruled the set with a kind and intelligent hand."

Oh a cast reunion for the 45th birthday would be tremendous. Hopefully this happens.

Looking at the ages of the cast, a 45 year reunion may be the last significant anniversary that all the surviving significant cast members would be able to participate in. It would be great if it could happen.

I would love to see the cast reuniting, just for old times sake. The last proper reunion was at Paley in October 2010, when Abby Dalton and the creator Earl Hamner were still alive.

Maybe we should email Mr. Henry Winkler, responsible (along with Charlene Tilton) for the two CBS Reunions in the mid-00s. Many guest stars are still alive, and we know how interesting their stories are in the YT podcasts, no matter how small their roles were:
- Shannon Tweed (I´d love to hear her re-telling the story that she didn´t know what kind of "trees" were in those lands...)
- Sarah Douglas (she´s very active on her FB account and on conventions)
- Morgan Fairchild (she´s everywhere now)
- Jamie Rose & Dana Sparks (both own their FB accounts and seem to be friends)
- Brett Cullen (also very active as an actor)
- Ron Rikfin, Anne Archer & Ken Olin (put together because I´m sure they´d only agree to do it for money)
- Kate Vernon (still quite gorgeous, no disrespect to the other women)
- Leslie Caron
- Assumpta Serna
- Rosalind Chao (Li-Ying)
- Well....Kim Novak, though I don´t think she´s in the mood for anything public anymore
- Jane Badler (I´d say she would join the party if she could promote her cabaret shows)
- James Hong (he may be 120 today but he´s in everything, everywhere, at the same time... literally
- Most of the last season´s cast would come, but they are probably afraid of some crazy fans out there.

The point is that all of them would end up talking about Jane, who really was the fundament of the show. The ladies from "We´re Knot Done Yet" are being quite effective bringing a lot of people from the show (+their friends from their book clubs...), so maybe we should ask them for help!

If a reunion happens then Villa Miravalle should be the setting. Should the scope for participation be widened then Carl Held (Garth) is also still alive.

I mean he did one for Dallas in 2004 (Return to Southfork), one for Knots Landing in 2005 (Together again) and one for Dynasty in 2006. (Catfight & Caviar) I thought for sure that Falcon Crest would follow but it never did. Does anyone know why Falcon Crest was being overlooked?

Then as for a cast reunion for the 45th Anniversary. Maybe you could contact The Hollywood Show and suggest they do a Falcon Crest reunion this year?

When they did the PBS special PIONEERS OF TELEVISION: PRIME TIME SOAPS about 15 years ago, they platformed PEYTON PLACE, DALLAS, DYNASTY and KNOTS LANDING.

Not so much as a whisper about FALCON CREST. Not even a photo.
