A beautiful film.

I seem to recall catching the beginning of it late in the evening every once in a while when it aired on TV in the Eighties, but this is probably the first time I've watched it in full.

Requiem For A Dream (2000).

I've been meaning to watch this film for some time now because I like Lux Aeterna, the piece of music used in the film. A really good film about 4 characters, with different backgrounds who for different reason end up addicted to drugs with very different and tragic consequences. Ellen Burnstyn is particularly good as the mother who becomes addicted to diet pills.
