In retrospect, it'd have been more interesting if Bliss were cast in the "Fallon Season 1" mode. This would have allowed the character to be a duplicitous and knowingly privileged young woman, rather than the unconsciously privileged character as written/played in The Colbys. She could have kept the string of hot boyfriends (please!), but been more strategic and self-serving in her choices. My version of Bliss would have been even more spoilt and duplicitous -- her mother's daughter -- and arrogant/smug in her assumptions of primacy and privilege -- her father's daughter. Instead, we got a naive, earnest young rich girl. I think the series needed another young story-driver with clear agendas and juicy duplicity.
