I used to love tennis and Bjorn Borg will always be my fav, the cool Swede who never lost his temper

The 80s is also my fav era for tennis and players

Now i havent too much of an idea who so many of them are and a little bit gutted that Del Potro was knocked out today

This thread is for tennis past and present

I dont know who will win Wimbldon mens of ladies tennis finals

For me nothing will beat this!! IN Kent for school hols and glued to TV, my mum and i had knots in our stomachs watching it. It was the summer of Who shot JR too, it was a great summer!!

what a fantastic game of tennis tonight
usually support Nadal but his opponent Gilles Muller played some fantastic tennis and desrved his win;
over 4 1/2 hours on court and im exhausted watching it

my moneys on Federer to lift the title though

I think to enjoy tennis, you have to understand it and I really don't :danc: I would have a hard time watching a full game. However, my all time favourite was this - simply because I was in love with Andre Agassi. This was the highlight of my summer that year!

Im not a Murray fan - a dour Scot - but a good player but just dont like him or his temperament

I hoped Muller would get all the way to the final.

My hopes will be that Federer wins - he is in great shape for a man in his mid 30s

The ladies final - first set was great tennis, second set dont know what happened to Venus?

Nice to see a new ladies champ even tho i cant pronounce her name. Well done Espana! and Garbine Muguruza

That was the most boring final I've watched.


Such a shame so many great players were hit with injuries.

So bored of Federer... I mean he's great but wish someone else could win! You'd think Jesus had come back the way it was being reported.

I have met Andy Murray and he's very nice but those stupid faces he pulls do nothing for him!! And his wife and her fist bumps....aaaah so annoying!
