Fans may have been most excited to see the familiar faces from the original series on Dallas TNT, but which of the newbies - including grown-up recasts of the children from the original - are your favorites?

I can't work the voting thing, for some reason. I think I voted for Christopher by accident.

I still like the Administrator's idea of Vincent Kartheiser as John Ross and then my idea of Josh Henderson as wicked Christopher who bonds with Uncle JR because of their shared immorality (and then maybe we could find out Christopher was JR's biological son after all.)

You probably can't go past Josh Henderson as John Ross, although the character was written rather inconsistently.

You could also say that it didn't look one-note. I found most characters deliciously and dangerously unpredictable, especially Sue Ellen and the Ramoses (sounds like a 1960s Motown band).

I liked the outrageous Ryland, where mama was 18 months older than her son.

Hated Ann and her casting.

John Ross and Christopher were very watchable.
Harris Ryland and his mum were very entertaining.
Pamela and Emma were very good and "Bum" was very interesting.

I only really liked Josh Henderson and Jesse Spencer on the new Dallas.

Rats! What made me think of Jesse Spencer, he was on Neighbours!

Apart from his great looks and erm, his nice butt!

I meant Jesse Metcalfe of course. Another great actor with lovely looks and erm another nice butt.

He's grown up into a really fine actor and he's still as cute as hell.

I really liked the cast of the sequel with a preference for Josh, Jesse and Julie.
Brenda was a good recruit to take over from Ellie at Southfork.
Judith reveled in me as new nemesis Ewing, and Mitch's return in a new role from the original made him sexier than ever.

I wish there weren't more original actors. Of course Larry, Patrick & Linda shone more than ever,
Audrey, more beautiful than ever, should have had more scenes, just like Ken.
I regret that Priscilla and Susan did not appear and Cathy & Deborah Shelton would have deserved more scenes and in this case at the funeral of JR.
Deborah Rennard would also have had her place that day.

John Ross terrific casting really enjoyed his character.

I liked Pamela Rebecca. The character certainly had its flaws but I actually found her quite compelling compared to the others. I thought the actress gave a good portrayal and for awhile she was one of the few reasons I kept watching, but eventually her character was damaged beyond repair like just about everyone else’s.

Judith reveled in me as new nemesis Ewing.

It's quite surprising that Judith, considering she joined in season 2 and wasn't in the opening credits, is currently ranked third in the poll, ahead of leading ladies Elena and Ann. Entertainment Weekly described her at the time as a scene-stealer and a reason to watch Dallas. Would the ratings have been positively impacted if Judith Light had been part of the show from the beginning, especially since she was back in the spotlight after her role in Ugly Betty?

I think Emma's last name was Ryland. Did not care for Elena Ramos and how the show was about them instead of the Ewings. I liked John Ross, Christopher, Pamela, and Emma.
