The mod team are completely tired of all the fighting and personal insults in this forum. It was discussed to a point where everyone felt it was in the best interest to close this forum completely, or ban those who repeated broke the rules. I personally tried reasoning with members and suggested we let them fight it out between them, like little kids in the school playground.

I'm under the impression that the Clinton supporters believe the Trump supporters are vile and I'm also under the exact impression that the Trump supporters think the Clinton supporters are vile. I believe each side doesn't realise this because they are too hung up on their dislike for each candidate. - I could be wrong.

I'm glad you brought this up, because you've been posting for a few weeks how you believe one member is using two accounts and even challenged the admin when the matter was cleared.

The mod team have stopped looking in this forum, so if any member feels a guideline has been broken, then we have this function called The Report Button. This has been used many times and looking back at the records all relevant posts have been deleted.

Where has this "admin" person defended a rule breaker?

The details were lost, but I can vouch that I have never seen another account linked with McGarrett since 2009.

If you are aware of the guidelines, then why have you ignored this...?

Yes, I'm a Clinton supporter but I don't believe Trump supports are "vile" and I've NEVER said anything like that on this forum.

Yes, I suggested that a forum member had more than one profile, originally after he repeatedly made personal attacks against me which were "liked" by the other profile that I believed also to be his. I never resorted to responding to his insults by making further insults but the synergy between those 2 accounts lead me to believe that they might be linked in some way. I only made a few posts suggesting the same person was behind 2 profiles in contrast to many personal insults made towards me by that person and "liked" by the other account.

I have reported some of the personal insults directed at me on this forum, and those posts were deleted, but the individual was allowed to continue with his abuse so I gave up reporting further posts.

I have been criticised by admin on this thread for suggesting the same person was behind 2 accounts but I have never seen any public rebuke to the person who has repeatedly insulted me on here. It's the inconsistency regarding how my few posts on having more than one profile has been challenged whereas someone else is permitted to relentlessly abuse those he disagrees without any comeback that didn't sit well with me. That's what I was cryptically referring to in my statement.

Sadly I think America could make the wrong choice and vote for him, but given a choice and as my politics lean towards the Democrats, if I were given a vote it would be for crooked Hillary. If Hillary was to get in I think she will only do one term, because the Republicans will make it as hard as they can for her and I think she will be an unpopular President.

If Trump was to get in, my only hope is, he surrounds himself with a good team who can advise him and reign him in. Not quite the same I know but look at Reagan when he was elected and the reaction at first."


What you need to understand is that our country is at a crucial crossroad. We either turn the country around to get back on the right path, or we continue down the same dangerous path of wide open borders, race riots, welfare abuse, government corruption, and Supreme Court justice appointees that will support late third trimester abortions. Trump is the lesser of the two evils. Electing "crooked Hillary" would present a crisis for us. Nothing will get done for the country because she will be too distracted by the criminal FBI investigations and probable indictment.

In all my time here on Soap Chat I don't believe you have insulted or disrespected anyone on the forums. Your conduct anywhere on Soap Chat has never been questioned and rightly so in my opinion.

I understand your concern , and let me ask you, how do you believe that a Hillary Clinton presidency will benefit you in "good old blighty"? What is she offering to bring to the table that you are wanting to share in and make life better for you? What, have we as Americans missed? Whether we get Hillary or Trump, the Congress will hold the ultimate decision about policy, economics, immigration, etc. That is our check and balance system. Don't believe for a moment that Hillary will have more restrictions on than Trump. He's not liked by the Republicans either.

One huge issue for me is the corruption of Hillary. A Hillary presidency is a given she will remain and be under investigation and the umbrella of suspicion for her entire life in the White House. Don't forget she and Bill have been there before. It was that way then, and it's destined to be that way again.

But, really I would like to hear your point as to exactly how you believe she would help you.

I honestly don't want to make an issue out of this but "Admin" asked me a question about how 2 accounts could be operating from 2 different locations and I answered it factually, pointing out that it is easily done by using a virtual private network (VPN) with one of the accounts. I wasn't disbelieving what "Admin" was saying or even challenging what he/she was saying about multiple accounts.

Maybe "criticised" was the wrong word, "challenged" would have been better. However, my general point was that if I say someone has 2 accounts it's challenged by admin on the forum for everyone to see, and that's fair enough, but if someone calls me "stupid", "idiotic" or various other insults, I am not aware of any challenge being made to the individual that is permitted to behave in this manner.

Anyway, I don't want to start a war of words, I accept that I could have made some of my comments on this matter privately to moderators and chosen my words more carefully. I will endeavour to do this in the future.

Obama is a fraud. Just look at what Michelle did to the school lunch program while her girls were eating high on the hog at their fancy private school and they don't want poor black kids to have access to private schools. Democrats have always been the party of racism.

Unfortunately playing the race/xenophobe card is the favorite go to scare tactic of the Democrats because they have nothing else to run on. (It seems that the same thing is happening about Brexit in the U.K.) Last night I saw an African American gentleman, who I believe is a sheriff, being interviewed, and he said how he really appreciates that Trump has reached out the African American community to show them a path away from being used for their votes. And based on the crowd's reaction to Obummer yesterday, that message does seem to be getting through.

(It seems that the same thing is happening about Brexit in the U.K.)) Last night I saw an African American gentleman, who I believe is a sheriff, being interviewed, and he said how he really appreciates that Trump has reached out the African American community to show them a path away from being used for their votes. And based on the crowd's reaction to Obummer yesterday, that message does seem to be getting through.

Was this man the African American sheriff, David Clark, if so I've been listening to him for months and he has a very strong support for Trump and has been a good mediator between the Campaign and the African American community. He's a no nonsense guy and he may be responsible for bringing a in a significant portion of the African American vote. I do believe Trump is making headway in that area, and that has largely been ignored by other Republicans.
